Video is old, the article it was featured in was not, the title summed it up pretty well imo; "Every episode of Friends played simultaneously is like some kind of Dadaist nightmare"
I love how the laugh track is like an endless onslaught throughout the video.
I love how the laugh track is like an endless onslaught throughout the video.
You watched the entire video?
You watched the entire video?
Not finished yet but on occasion it'll be doing the guitar outro to the ad breaks all the damn time too. The laughter is starting to sound alot more like chanting to me.
I'm kind of surprised how many shots line up so clearly. Was the show that formulaic?
this is just s1, i want every episode
this is just s1, i want every episode
humanity could not handle it
I'm kind of surprised how many shots line up so clearly. Was the show that formulaic?
it's not so much that it's formulaic, it's that pretty much all sitcoms are shot from specific camera angles, especially for establishing shots (basically, the intro to a scene in film/tv - show an overview of the setting). everybody loves raymond is that one cross shot basically of the kitchen and first floor, you never really see much of anything else simply because of how the episodes are shot. same with fraiser, himym, etc etc
Why did no one tell me it was gunna be this Waaaaaay
Could this video be any more cluttered?
Videos like this just make me wonder who woke up one day and said, "you know, I think today I'm going to layer every episode of Friends on top of each other and put it on youtube".
Should've lined em up by the theme tune.
Eerily similar to this.
Pretty shizy.
Should've lined em up by the theme tune.
I would have loved to see the theme being identical and then it instantly begins to descend from there.
Well at least I'm all caught up with season one now.
oh god, all those close-ups and shots of the city just make this somehow even more nightmarish
Is this what hell looks like?

Do not show this to anyone tripping. Please.
This is very similar to what I see and hear when I have panic attacks in public places. It's terrifying.
Could this video BE any more cluttered?
fixed for show consistency
This is very similar to what I see and hear when I have panic attacks in public places. It's terrifying.
Yeah I know exactly what you mean, except I was overly high on MDMA outside a nightclub, the voices garbled together into a horrible mixture that gets louder and louder even though it couldn't possibly get any louder..and then I projectile vomited in front of a doorman, he gave me a look but didn't kick me out. Interestingly iirc there was a study carried out that indicated MDMA to be a treatment for anxiety..Or was that mushrooms..or both?
Is it me or it sort of sounds like the ambient crowd noise in the Rollercoaster Tycoon games?
I imagine this is what people with mind reading powers hear when they're in a crowded area and can't control how many people's minds they're reading at a time
that how the god see us
Should do a Dragon Ball Z version
God, imagine that rendering time
They say that if you go to Stage 5 at Warner Brothers Studios on a full moon, you can hear the faint sounds of The Rembrandts. But that if you speak ill of Joey while there, you'll be swallowed by a sea of laughter.
Well, since hell is other people, they might as well be Friends.
