The problem with Weegee is that he can't fix his authoritative, pretentious """radio voice""" with an XLR mic.
Or any mic.
He has that arrogance which is hilarious because a lot of his content is genuinely shit. Check his "how to" smash bros [sp]actually don't do that[/sp] character videos which are five second cash in fluffs. A lot of his videos are like that. Videos that make you question why he has a set up like that when he doesn't actually do anything.
I sure love the glaring incompetence of "Weegee Plays" when it comes to even basic understanding of analog and digital audio.
2:24 "mic picks up sound waves and [B]converts them into digital audio[/B] information recognizable by your computer via your [B]soundcard[/B] of choice".
He first mentions a microphone with a built in DAC, then he says that that digital signal goes into your soundcard, even though soundcard's only point as an input reciever is to do [B]A[/B]nalog to [B]D[/B]igital [B]C[/B]onvesrion.
Also, gotta have that classic "steps" illustration of digitazing soundwaves that's just misleading.

I didn't mind his how to videos at first because I thought he was playing a character. But u can't really enjoy them now because that's just how he really is
I can't believe that Weegee video was taken seriously in the first place. His own narrative voice sounds hilariously bad in the damn video itself. The Yeti is actually good. If it wasn't good, it would sound bad for everyone, not just Weegee's moronic, broken tests. It's literally that simple.
Hell, I think my Snowball setup sounds better than his Yeti.
I'm actually so glad somebody made this video, because I literally noticed this exact shit when I first saw that video. it's literally plagarized word for word at points

I think he's funny and knows what he's talking about but it does seem like he's kind of a tool.
