That was truly awesome. How much am I going to have to dig for it?
Yes, let's listen to the head of the marketing department for a company that makes SSDs for an unbiased comparison. They're faster, yes. But solid state drives have a limited read/write rate and they still aren't worth the extra cost.

Aren't Intel's SSDs the best at the moment?
That was awesome! But then I read the Wikipedia article on SSDs and it says that it 'wears out.' :( [editline]04:34PM[/editline] It's like in Diablo when you get ethereal weapons that you can't repair.

I like SSD's because they're very durable as well, you can drop it on the floor and it will be just fine.

Assuming normal use I wouldn't be surprised if a SSD could last for 200/300 years.

[editline]05:51PM[/editline] But, I guess even at that it would still be better than a HDD.

:wtc: How much did all that cost?
:wtc: How much did all that cost?
My guess is over 10k.
PCI-E SSDs are even faster, but they easily go over €3000.
This is the way to go, i want one.
did he just defrag an SSD? what an idiot.
did he just defrag an SSD? what an idiot.
It's not like what he did was that great. He was using Auslogics Disk Defrag which scans incredibly fast and he only actually defragged one file.
It's not like what he did was that great.
