Dubbing is terrible in general.
I started watching this last week. Pretty interesting so far but I'm so fucking sick of TV shows featuring family men having affairs. Can we make one god damn TV show that doesn't have an affair in it.

I did the same thing, although even in good dubs, like Death Note has, I still prefer watching it with the original voices.
I thoroughly recommend checking this show out. It is well acted, has an excellent, creepy soundtrack and is a pretty compelling mystery so far.

I'd argue that for comedy, unless it's physical comedy, dubbing is essential.

I feel that a synchronizing actor will never be able to convey all the vocal emotion an actual can. Of course we are far more used to subtitles than most other counties. So much even I hardly even notice them most of the time.
