I'm pretty sure 96.9 was one of the Boston stations that used to run a prank-call segment in the morning like 10 years back, and Ramiro (the middleman in the call) was the host known as the "Freakin Puerto Rican."
They'd even give out their number at the end of the segment and ask people to call and tell them to prank their friends/family.
I haven't listened to them in a long time, so I don't know if this segment was just that to the extreme, or if they're taking all kind of calls now and landed in the middle of some spicy drama/prank.
I think it was pretty cruel to abuse [I]her[/I] as part of getting revenge on her son -- she found out live on the air that the younger guy she thought was totally into her and made her feel amazing and she's excited to see again not only doesn't love her, but he cynically had sex with her only so he could maliciously turn it against her son. That's [I]brutal[/I] to do to someone's feelings. I'm cringing in empathy at how betrayed and exposed she must feel in that moment.

The only way the radio station could have aired this is if the mom agreed to have it aired (after the recording)
