Oh god, I want to order like 10 and put them in series :v:
I once touched a tiny capacitor in my camera and I got a huge shock and it scared that the shit out of me! Capacitors are fun lol
Science is fun.
Imagine 20-30 of these in series in a backpack with sufficiently capable wire and a coil gun in .50 caliber hooked up to this. personal anti-tank weapon?

The charge-up time would be horrid.

Yeah but it would be worth the one shot.
I got bored when it turned into a physics lesson.

I understood all of this because I do physics :colbert:
I liked the sound of a reduced speed spark.
Homebuilt murder taser here i come!

Why am i thinking about RE2?

Much better use of the capacitor backpack.

Now use this in a "Homemade tazer" tutorial, and gain extreme respect in school.
Some one make a coilgun out of these! Serious weapon with these.
Science RULES!
Why isn't he wearing any protection?

I only need one shot. :c00lbert:
Why isn't he wearing any protection?
Because he's trying to have a lightning child.
Wait is he trying to get a high capacitance? Why would you put capacitors in series rather than parallel when you end up with a much lower capacitance than you would with just one?
A proper use of :science:
2600 Farad, holy shit. I used a 20 pF capacitor in my last electronics lab. That means his capacitor has 130,000,000,000,000 more capacitance than the one I was using.

No, he was trying to increase the voltage across them.
I wonder what I could actually do with a series of these. I can't imagine needing that kind of capacitance in any normal application.
they are cheaper than batteries and don't degrade over time so that's usually what they are used for
charge time could be overcome by using some sort of tower, maybe a coil, that has a slow charging, low power energy pulse BUT can be augmented with more power by having soldiers with the same technology transfer their energy to it
glory to the soviets

This for some reason reminded me of Red Alert 2's Tesla Trooper.
I think I'm going to reinstall RA2 now...

Faster charging batteries for Electric cars :science:
You could charge a EV from flat to fully charged in a piss break.
No more waiting a hour or more for that.
