[sp]can't wait to finally punch the everliving shit out of lucas[/sp]
Does it need another hillbilly to kill
Lucas isn't new and the other guy doesn't seem to be fucked up like the others.
I bet we end up playing as the old guy in End of Zoe.
imagine if kojima comes out and says end of zoe is actually end of zone of the enders.
Is it just me or Not a Hero really gives the first F.E.A.R. vibe? I've been waiting for that for many years. Can't wait to play it.
Wow they weren’t kidding about rumors that suggested that they final DLC was a distanced story, related but distinctive
So why is Chris Redfield a part of Umbrella I kind of hope they go into that

It's basically a reconstituted "Blue Umbrella" set up and managed by the US government, what's left of it's assets being used to tackle new bioweaponry threats after the original Umbrella Corporation basically collapsed in on itself.
Now why Chris is ON said team and still not with the BSAA? that's another question, but I think perhaps it's because he thinks him being in on it will stop this new umbrella from going insane like the original or something or perhaps he was stationed there by the US government given his previous involvement with Umbrella and his already extensive knowledge on bio-weaponry before this.

I wanna know why Capcom decided to bring back Umbrella when one of the best parts ofRE4 was that Umbrella got sued up the ass and went fucking bankrupt after Racoon City. That and the fact that they just nuke Racoon City to contain the infection instead if it becoming a zombie apocalypse was always my favourite parts of RE since it subverted the expectations of the genre.

maybe it has something to do with umbrella corps (the weird unity third person shooter game) being canon and some important character is actually alive in this game

I know you just looked up the wiki and read about it because that's never explained anywhere and the only info anyone has on it is from the wiki; and even then the wiki only has about three sentences to explain what it is.

To be fair, with the latest CGI movie the BSAA pretty much go full collateral damage. A character with a sniper railgun obliterates a skyline to shoot the Big Bad turned Tyrant, and Leon is more than willing to drive recklessly and blow up an active highway with grenades just to get rid of some really annoying zombie dogs. In New York City. People thought that this was going to be a plot point and disillusion Chris or something, but nah, the movie doesn't remotely touch on it.
Instead you get Leon going John Wick and action scenes that make RE6 look tame.

yep pretty much, I never said otherwise, so take that information with a grain of salt!
But hey, they must have got that information from somewhere right and it pretty much sounds correct and makes some amount of sense, more so than the "Clone Chris" theory anyway.

Seems like a slightly more unhinged Ethan tbh.
Not FEAR at all imo. I mean, you're a one man army in FEAR so...
theres something very off about the government just using umbrella again considering how badly received they are in the public eye in the re universe
Is it though, I mean, it's the Resident Evil universe, stranger things have happened.
[editline]edit[/editline]
Sorry, when I said "stranger things" what I really mean is stupider things.

It was kinda neat that the big bad evil corporation in a piece of media died literally from legal action and bad PR, rather than the CEO or whatever being fucking murked by the good guys. I don't think I've ever seen that before, especially in a game.
The RE series is super weird with what it gets right and what it gets wrong.

more unhinged than ethan? the guy who immediately axes his wife after being reuinted with her? who just glues his limbs back on with liquid and is like 'cool'.
Wait... did their conversation about Ethan more or less confirm that [sp]the theory that he's been involved with BOWs before?[/sp]

His reaction to getting his arm sawed off, "Ok, fine."
Clancy's the true hero of Resident Evil 7

I meant in terms of gameplay. Chris seems like he'll be just a bit more action oriented than Ethan, therefore not being that much of a change that would remember us of FEAR.
At least thats the impression I get from the trailers.
