I'm Scottish, and Irish isn't too dissimilar... but I had no fucking idea what the hell they were talking about. I think it involved some stolen Guinness. It wasn't even a decent fight.

I can understand the guy with the mullet and denim jacket perfectly well, and the old guy sort of, but mostly it just sounds like gibberish to my ears.

My god these travelers and their ways i live in like most gypsie infested place in Tyrone and i'm a foreigner, its funny how they changed in 5 years, when i came in they picked fights with foreigners cause there were only few around in my area but in around 3 years they saw theres more of us and started acting good, helping us out and shit.
2 of my cousins and I got jumped by 5 of them, age 14-17 and around 10 other foreigner haters in school once because the gypsies spread lies around school saying we hit one of them in the canteen however we would not even go to canteen, we had our little place where we stay to get away from all the bullying. Lucky i finished it last year, phew.

One time I was getting the bus home from school and a couple of travelers hopped on and sat behind me, they had a phone with them which I suspect was stolen because they kept asking each other how to work it.
Most of my friends were doing extra curricular activities, so they weren't getting the bus, but the people on the bus I was friendly with gave me a sympathetic look.
After about 20 seconds they started hitting the back of my head, I just ignored them for a while, they started hitting harder. I asked them if they had a problem and they started laughing. I got up to move to a different seat and he said in his pikey accent "Get up and I'll break your jaw" I hadn't a fucking clue what he was saying until much after, so I asked him to repeat himself, he said the exact same thing, and I still couldn't understand a word.
He was getting agitated and asked "Are you fucking deaf or something?" This I understood so I warily sat back down. I had a relief of about 5 minutes, before one of them taps me on the shoulder and asks "Do you know what a happy slap is?" I start to turn around when the other slaps me, hard across the face.
Everyone on the bus hears and looks at me, but doesn't say anything. I swear under my breath but don't say a word. Then about 3 minutes later they slap me again, this time without warning. But it didn't hurt that much, and when I thought about it later, neither did the first.
They got off the bus soon after and shouted back at me a bit, but I didn't rise.
I've had a few bad experiences with pikeys, but this is the only time they actually hit me.
I remember when I used to work in a pub it was a small pub, fit maybe 50 people. It would have been about two years ago.
We had the pub booked out for a wedding reception. Nothing unusual.
I was working a late shift with 3 other staff members. The reception arrived at around 8-9pm.
To our horror it was a travelers wedding. If the manager had of known it was gonna be them, he would have refused them. The first hour went OK, they were a bit load but nothing major. After and hour they started to turn violent and aggressive. They continuously came behind the bar and stole drinks and stuff, then chairs and tables started flying everywhere.
In the end the Garda were called. But that only caused more problems. The amount of damage to the pub ended up at 20,000€
