The vast majority of this will be from the US, and a quick google search says according to the CIA there's roughly 223 million internet users (although I am aware this is a bit old). So here's some better math, nearly 1% of the people who go on the internet in the US subscribe to fred. That is a major facepalm EDIT: also in the time since you posted that he's gained another 16 subscribers. Also quite freaky.
