The comedic timing there was great.
"Turn off the flash ya fucking moron!" *Duh Duh DUNN*
My worst nightmare.
Luckily no one had the flash on at the marathon I was at :v:
oh no
it's the 3d version
Marathon as in that the movie premiered exactly at midnight after showing Episode 4 5 6? (or even with 1 2 3?)
Edit: Did the same thing with The Hobbit in which i watched those 3 films, i was so tired in the end that i only remember half of the movie.

Apparently they viewed all of the six movies previously before finally finishing with VII, so.. yeah.
there was like 10 people in my theater it was fantastic. pretty much had the place to myself.
Ugh how can people watch a movie like this, people clapping and cheering. People enjoying things makes me sick.
Saw it today and there was only 1 guy clapping his hands. 4 seconds later another guy clapped his hands once. Oh man the awkwardness of a swedish movie theater...

this usually never happens at a theater except for stuff that's as big as star wars
same thing with people coming into the theater in costume n shit

nope, it was 1-7.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/lUNV89R.jpg[/t] (my lanyard from the showing).
Episode 1 started at 3 AM, with 14-15 minute breaks inbetween each movie. After Episode III, there was an hour long break for Breakfast, and then we started back up with the Original Trilogy. After the OT was done, there was about 30 minutes until TFA - which started at 7 PM, though there were like 20 minutes of ads.
And the 3D in TFA was actually really good, I was surprised.

and honestly all the cheering and stuff was great through the whole thing since everyone at that showing was a real fan, and it was just an awesome experience (I mean come on, when Ackbar yelled "IT'S A TRAP" during ROTJ everyone went wild and it was just a fun experience).

People in my theater stopped cheering after the opening crawl began. Honestly it was pretty cool to see so many people excited for Star Wars.
the 3d in the snow part was insane since the snow actually hovered out of the screen while [sp]ren and ray are going at it[/sp]

When I was watching it, nobody said a word and absolutely EVERYONE left the movie as soon as the credits started rolling... except for me. :v:
People were hyped as fuck in my theater. They cheered every time a major character showed up and when certain iconic starships appeared. It was great.

My theater laughed at the jokes, cheered when returning characters and elements came back strong, and gave standing claps once it all ended, so i'd say I had a pretty fan-based group in my viewing. There was even a woman right behind my row who came in a dress covered in Death Star patterns.
While its nice, Id be annoyed if everyone was cheering and screaming. Like we get it, you love the movie, but some of us want to be immersed in the film.
The theater I went to had a sign prohibiting props & masks :v:

They don't cheer and scream for the entire movie you know, it's just like for the first 15 seconds because they are excited

no fun allowed
the theatre was so so quiet and then when the star wars logo hit, it was insanely loud. I think at least 50% of the theatre, myself included, jumped from it

Same here.
So glad nobody was clapping or cheering, I want to watch the film not you
The only times I can remember the audience at my theatre doing anything audible
[sp]Laughing when Rey told that stormtrooper to drop his blaster, and maybe when those two stormtroopers stopped and walked away when Kylo was having a tantrum[/sp]
everyone laughed at [sp]BB-8 giving a thumbs up with the lighter when fin was arguing with him [/sp]
I remember back in the day when I saw Episode 3 in the theater this one guy kept making wookie noises and eventually got removed :v:
In my experience, people only cheer and clap at the midnight premiere because if you're at the midnight premiere, you're really excited for it

[sp]The fucking BB-8 thumbs up. My theater roared[/sp]
