I'd honestly wipe Peter Jackson's arse for free as long as I got to tag along the production.
That's amazing. And I can hardly believe it's been 10 years since the Fellowship of the Ring was released.
I've been working as an extra on the Laketown set for the last 3 weeks... the set has stunning detail.

Made me feel old when Elijah Wood mentioned in the previous video that he was 19 when they filmed Fellowship, and then said he's now 30.

I was a teenage warg.

I want to eat your flesh.
I would shove my head in a septic tank to work there.

My flesh probably tastes pretty good given all the prime catering I've been eating. They feed you two meals a day and the food is spectacular.
2 things.
New Zealand is beautiful. And I can't believe it was 10 years already since the first trilogy. Elijah's and now Peter's remark made me realize that.

Have you bumped into any of the main actors? Like the dwarves, Freeman, McKellen, Luke Evans, Stephen Fry etc?

Ive seen all of them around set at one time or another. Most of them have their core group around them, ie makeup persons and what not. Also they are allowed to bring their family on set too.
Have you been on-set for most of those three weeks or is it like 1 or 2 days a week? You must be in some long scenes if they require you for that long.

10 days in the last 3 weeks. Mostly consisting of drinking coffee, smoking cigarettes and eating.
Lots of down time, but when you actually get on set it's so much fun. I'm a filmmaker, so watching Peter direct is so captivating.
I've only been on set (more like location) for a movie, and that was one day. Those 8 hours consisted of waiting and eating as well.
I was lucky enough to skip over the make-up session because they thought my hair looked perfect :v:
I did a terrible background job in my opinion so I haven't watched the movie.

What movie was it?
These films are fucking crazy productions
I thought Peter Jackson lost nearly all of his excess weight a few years ago. He looks pretty fat again. Not that that is a bad thing, he seems like a friendlier person when he is a bit overweight. Same thing applies to Drew Carrey. On the subject of the video itself, I cannot wait to see it and I cannot wait for the soundtrack. It seems like it might even be better than the Lord of the Rings movies. Then again it does have a like nearly ten years on them.

Ask Elijah Woods about season 2 of Wilfred for me, maybe because its not about LOTR he won't be annoyed by the question.
Also make a thread in GD
Manvsbear, you really should make a GD thread! Even though I guess you're not really allowed to reveal anything, you can at least talk about some of it :)
What movie was it?
A small Norwegian movie set in the 80's.
The scene was taking place on a football field where a class was having gymnastics. The two maincharacter were playing around with a football while talking, and the rest of us where supposed to be doing stuff in the background. We were 5 male extras and around 20 females. They picked the four other boys to play around with another football in the background. I was picked to jump rope. Which I suck at and I didn't have the best physical endurance at that time. And I was close to the camera. The field was muddy, so every time I jumped, dirt splattered all over my pants and the back of my sweater. They did about 5 takes, and each one lasted 3-4 minutes before they yelled cut. By the 5th one I was absolutely exhausted and I could barely jump.
Oh well, at least I guess the audience watching the final film got a good laugh.
