Good bit of new footage in these, and pretty good looks at the other Dinobots besides Grimlock.

Flick looks like it could be better than the last three since Shia LeBouf isn't in it.
Shia wasn't the only problem with the last three but he sure as hell was a big one. I'm glad him and his romantic subplot are gone so that we can focus more on the robots instead of his weird looking face and terrible acting.
They're focusing a lot on the robots in the trailers, actually. Like the camera is still and you can see the robots. That's a good thing. Maybe this movie will be more pure robot action and Marky Mark is just kinda hanging around saying a dumb thing occasionally.
Is it me, or do the robits look more solid with the cgi this time? Like there's less parts moving around on the transformers themselves unlike the last 3 movies.

IIRC, the reason the robots looked like walking knife drawers in the last three movies was because they believed that smoother robots with flat surfaces would look bad on the big screen. I assume it changed because Pacific Rim proved that theory incorrect as fuck and absolutely nobody liked the the old designs.
i can just imagine the suits making Michael Bay build this entire movie around one of them brainstorming and coming up with "Optimus Prime on a t-rex"

Except the Dinobots have been around for a long ass time. Not to say it isn't ridiculous, but Grimlock is well established in Transformers.

I seriously can't wait. This one has taken a lot of inspiration from other shows, mainly Prime. The whole plot revolves around an episode in Prime (Nemesis Prime, Season 2 if you're interested). I'm happy with the new cast and I love all the new designs.

I actually made a thread over in the Film and Television subforum where a bunch of other stuff of Transformers is posted if anyone's interested.
