note: this takes place late at night and the guy had been sick for the past day and a half

That guy has such an attitude... I mean, it sounded like he deserved that yelling. He was obviously told not to do that while he was sick, and disobeyed what she told him. He's probably like that because despite her yelling, he still got away with it, and continued to.
She should have been more stern I think and just pulled the plug.
"Oh shit, it was on the whole time?"
He swat the camera away; he knew it was on. It probably wasn't staged for his mom to come in and yell, but he purposely left it on.
In the description:
Can we hit 200 likes?
On a video where his mom is yelling at him. It's stupid that some youtubers/streamers are milking their viewers of views and likes over shit like this. Not to mention that he's being a disrespectful prick; sarcastic comments put on the screen doesn't make him seem more witty or funny, it just makes him seem arrogant.
He sounds like a bit of a dick.
Also those snarky ass comments in the video make him more of a dick.
When I was in elementary and I was sick I'd play video games all the time since that's a lot different than going to school, but that was in elementary. This kid looks and sounds like he's at least a high school sophomore. By that time I was done with the whole fake sick, play video games thing.
The guy's a real cunt to his mom, wow.
What a fucking faggot.
"so what if im missing school"
rebellious teenager 101
In the Raidyr household this video would end at about :33 seconds because the camera would be on the other side of the room, along with my head :v:
Could never imagine getting in a screaming match with my mom, over a video game of all things. Kid needs perspective.
The idea that he doesn't give a shit and will shell out actual drama, giving legitimate stress to his mother and (possibly) father, and failing grades shows that he cares more about internet fame than actual work.
I do not know the phenomenon with people who are so obsessed about sitting on their ass all day, playing video games and making a quick buck. I don't mind streaming for entertainment but when you pepper your stream with ads, and constantly ask to follow, like and subscribe to your viewer base who apparently doesn't have a fucking brain and has to be told what to do.
Fuck him, let him ruin his life and hopefully get kicked out.
What a prick.
I would never go this far but to be fair, he looked like shit and it's pretty rare for high schools to give you coursework anymore. I've had such a hard time explaining in the past that yeah i know it seems weird but i literally get no homework :v:
His mom sounds hot.

Bullshit. My old highschool loaded me with hours of work every night. Try AP courses.
That snarky shit would've gotten me kicked across the room.
On the flip side, if my parents knew I was legit sick (usually fever); they didn't really care what I did, as long as it wasn't physically strenuous.
Kids kinda dick, but I can understand it.
Staying in bed all day isn't exactly the best way to spend your time when you're sick.
I usually just end up lying there feeling miserable. Not sleeping.
I used to play video games when I was sick home from school, not because I wasn't magically not sick, but it kept my mind off it.
Nukefuzz confirmed to be kid in the video
Yeah, I get that the kid probably should've just rationed it out with his mom. But the kid isn't completely wrong here.
He was sick in bed all day, and so when he goes to play a videogame his mom publicly humiliates him on camera where all his friends can see, and now the whole world.
Now we can just go "whatever" and turn off the stream and dust it off, but when you're a teenager being humiliated in front of your friends it's crippling socially.

Ladies and Gentlemen. Welcome to the internet, apparently.

He easily could have stopped the stream. And not posted it to youtube.
This is like all those times where I'd come home after classes at uni, finish up all my lab work for the next two weeks and play video games. Every day my stepmom would walk by while I was playing games, not when I was actually working. This lead her to believe I was not doing any of my coursework and caused a lot of yelling on her part.
I don't particularly blame this kid, but he could have been more respectful.

If he had a handheld (Psp, DS, etc) he might have been better off. You can hide those waay better than playing on the PC.

He's a teenager, in that moment, his brain was going to "play with friends or go to sleep", and he chose play with friends.
Because teenagers are dumb by hormones. It fucking sucks being a teenager, because you're expected to act and think like an adult yet get treated like a kid.

As a teenager, you only get treated like a kid when you act like a kid. This guy was clearly acting like a kid. He's not acting like a kid because he wants to play video games, he's acting like a kid because he's mouthing off to his mother.
You really should expect to be yelled at and treated like a child if you throw a tantrum or blatantly disrespect someone who clearly has authority over you.
Bullshit. My old highschool loaded me with hours of work every night. Try AP courses.
I dunno dude the only course in my school that gives mad homework is AP English (history is snooze mode ez street) and the physics courses.
All the other shit is based off of what you can do during examination, you practice on your own time, they're not gonna force you to do work you might not need to do.
I never got the whole "Oh you're playing video games that must mean you're not sick anymore" attitude, it's like ok I'm only using my hands to do something unless I'm actually dying then it's not very demanding, or active.

Well as my mom put it once:
"I want to make it relatively boring so you don't pretend to be sick to stay home and not go to school."
[sp]Jokes on her I could still read comic books.[/sp]

Said the rational adult, who can comprehend things clearly with full hindsight.
Teenagers are different.
Bullshit. My old highschool loaded me with hours of work every night. Try AP courses.
Literally all of my course work was for my AP Psyche and AP AB-BC Calculus.
Psyche was easy but tedious while Calc was the bane of my fucking existence.
Now I'm in college with 11 credit hours under my belt before any 1st semester classes are counted. It's a good trade-off.
Oh god the comments are a gold mine.
You just earned another sub my mom did the same thing to me when i was live on twitch its not fun to have a mom screaming to e-mail my teachers at fuckin 1:00pm when i have to be at school. (mom use common sense the teachers are teaching)
