Well, he's back, and his account is in "good standing" now.
It's sort of dickish, but nonetheless quite interesting to watch. That, and the reactions of many are completely out of proportion.
Also maybe it's only my observation, but isn't it a tad strange that the destitute and downtrodden of the society being filmed tend to generally be more open to the camera than those in a more stable position?
Aw, I remember the guy at 47:38.
I'm sad now.
I don't get his logic. You can't compare walking up to random people with a camera with a surveillence camera. It's just not the same thing. Surveillence cameras are there to be non-intrusive and for record-keeping if an accident happens. You don't think about them.
This guy blatantly walks up to people and stares at them. It's wildly different, and he kind of just comes off as really annoying.

He's another pretentious clod who thinks he has a point, but it only works if you use stupid hyperbole like "Security cameras are FOLLOWING YOUR EVERY MOVE!!!1!".

Agreed, two separate forms of documentation, and to many, a nuisance. Still, the reactions of some are without a doubt headstrong.

Sure he's being a dick, but it's a good example of how people fail to function if you don't give them anything to work with. It's more than just him staring at people, he works them and doesn't give them anything they could to use to respond with other than him murmuring "you calm down" and giving one word responses.
It's like arguing with a stranger, there's nothing to insult them with other than their looks unless you get them to talk.

It's funny though so I don't care.
This dude sounds exactly like Daniel from SL.
"I gotta catch a bus."
Best one hands down.
44:15... Ray Sipe?
The passive aggressive woman at 18:00 is the worst.

I'm pretty sure that's just another one of his lines to throw people off.
"Are you confused?" gets me laughing every time.
This would make more sense if he did it in a pretty much public place like Walmart where they have security cameras. Nonetheless still an interesting social experiment considering how share-happy people are with Twitter, Facebook, Vine, Instagram, Snapchat, WhatsApp, etc etc. Try it 10 years ago and loads more would be confused.
The guy eating French fries is gone!
21:20 did he really walk into someone's house and started filming them?
How is this legal?

Watching the video is just like watching these videos about people walking around in GTA V. Silent protag and all that.

It's not a house.
does he think he's making a commentary on modern surveillance society or something?
how thick do you have to be to not realize that mass data collection is 100% different from barging into classrooms and study rooms and recording
at least film in a public place to make a point
This channel is back in "good standing", so here's Surveillance Camera Man 1-8. Everything is here except the old-man-eating-fries shot from SCM 7, which is considered copyright infringment by Google and SME for the song playing in the background on the radio.
the crackhead trying to invite people to her house to have sex for $10 after the scientology bit is just sort of depressing actually
This is strangely interesting to watch. People are so colorful. I mean 27:45 a guy flips a table. I don't see that kind of shit every day. Woman yelling something about alien abductions, crazy asians, spanish curses yelled, woman getting arrested. Hell this video has more interesting events than a month of my life because whenever I am outside the people are just minding their business and nothing special is happening.
That reminds me of when I was hitchhiking around the country. I would see that kind of stuff every hour.
Gonna subscribe, this is amazing.

He is in a public place. It's a school.

At best you can only label it as semi-public. The halls and the outside areas of the campus, absolutely! The classrooms, not so much.
Being out in public is called that for a reason and you have no reasonable expectation of privacy out in public. Stupid thing to do? Sure, but I like watching him push people's buttons.
Also, is he doing this with a dedicated video camera or a phone? I'm wagering the former, but I would definitely be interested in seeing how the reactions would differ it was a phone.

Oh, and apparently this guy's so popular even The iVerge did a story on him:

32:15 He just walks behind the counter of a fast food restaraunt and nobody minds. Wow.
35:41 "We took out Biiin Laaaaden". The song of Murica holy shit.
I just sat and watched a man walking around invading peoples privacy for 50 minutes straight.
And I loved every second of it.

It's a fairly decent camera he has, the wristband looking thing is the camera strap looped on his arm probably because people hit him so much.

Huh.
Surveillance camera man is the hero we deserve
My favorite parts are when he vists those asian people playing some sort of game. Why do they get so pissed off?
