People don't realize it but on foot a guy can close 15-20 feet from standing still before a trained officer can even draw his gun. Hopefully when that guy runs into someone who's conceal carrying that they realize it's a prank before they're able to draw and shoot

Depends on where you live, sometimes you really do. I live near Detroit and trust me, if I lived right in the city I would be carrying at all times. Detroit doesn't have a functional police force, you are your first and only line of protection against all the thugs and meth heads out there

I can assure you there are plenty of European cities that one would need a gun to be safe in, it's just that weapons as a deterrent/defence isn't as ingrown to the same degree as in the US.

I'm curious to know what was going on in that bit where the clown is circling that guy's car and pouring what I'm assuming is supposed to look like gasoline around it. It almost looks like the guy reached into his car to grab a gun, or at the very least some kind of non-lethal weapon. I'd really like to know the story behind that one and how they convinced that guy that it was just a prank.

Yeah, sure, but if the guy they were pranking is on-edge enough to consider grabbing a lethal/non-lethal weapon, I'm sure he's potentially trigger happy enough to use it the instant he sees something strange. Like any sudden movements from the guy that he believes is going to turn his car into a smoldering pile of metal. Considering how long that stare-down was lasting, any kind of a sudden or unexpected movement could cause something like that to happen.

If someone dressed like that approached me at that time of night WITH a weapon like that in his hand I would draw my pistol immediately and ask him to state his business. There's no room for civility in a situation like that.
