Saw this a while back. The way it just kinda stares is seriously creeping me the hell out. Someone needs to make a "and not a single fuck was given" picture of it, heh.

The part of it's face that has gone missing isn't really essential for it's existence. And with the very little amount of blood needed to pump through it's face, I'm not at all surprised that it's still standing. Their brains are small and all of their blood is primarily in their abdomen. The blood going to it's brain is still going there, so it would probably stay alive for quite some time. It is like a human cutting off their jaw, foot, hand. Sure blood is pumping, but it's not immediately fatal. The only upside to being human is the fact that you know what is happening and how to handle it(be it with shock, or medical aid). The cow, on the other hand, is instinctual and will probably act as if it's in a dark room with a cluster of bees stinging it's face because it has no concept of bandaging, clotting, pain relief, etc.
