We started out with a generic script for a drama that looked as if it had been written by a twelve year old with incoherent and awkward dialogue. We then acted these scenes out in the worst possible way. It was then that we went to editing, adding sloppy cuts and cheesy transitions, breaking all the rules of good editing. See if you can list off all the things that are wrong with this video. There are quite a few.
Side Note and Challenge:
Alright, you all have found and discussed the obvious faults of the movie, such as bad acting, abuse of zoom, but you haven't commented on the subtle inconsistencies and continuity errors that we put throughout. Let's see if anyone is willing to write up an extensive list of all this movie's faults. Accept my challenge.
I think if you hadn't mentioned it was satire, then I would've been fuming with rage right about now.

Well I was going to see if I could make people mad by claiming it was serious, but that didn't work so I decided to just reveal that we did it on purpose. I mean, I edited this with premiere pro, but downloaded Windows Movie Maker to do the credits. This is a great instructional video for how [B]not[/B] to make a good movie.
I honestly think people should use this as a reference before making their own movies.

In Windows Movie Maker, Don't save your movie as Jpeg.
I usually like stuff like this but it feels like you're trying too hard.
Stuttering after every single word gets monotonous quick and is hugely overplaying it.
Really it seems like only one of the people in this nailed it.
