Are people really oblivious to something falling from the sky?
I always wondered, how do they get the camera back? I assume there's a GPS chip or something on it, but couldn't the wind etc make it travel for miles?

Not really, if you notice there is a small black parachute (that doesn't seem to have deployed properly), but also that whole assembly weighs less than a few pounds. It's terminal velocity is probably pretty low too since it doesn't really seem to be coming down that fast and it only really rolls a few times once it hits the ground.
