Watched this shit when I was a kid, stopped when they put Sasuke in a fucking jar or something, it wasn't that, that scene made me stop just around there.
Naruto started okay. And then it got worse. And then it got worse than that. And worse. And worse. And worse yet again.
I keep thinking that it cannot get more terrible, and am consistently amazed at how they still somehow manage to do it.
I still watch Naruto and I like it

I mainly watch it because I enjoy the fights. I don't love it because I'm tired of fucking flashbacks.
Is it me or did the animation quality actually get worse? Like the art and stuff
I prefer reading manga.

Long lasting anime series tend to have their animation directors changed all the time.
all i gotta say about naruto is that when u first enter high school theres always that one kid who runs like Naruto in PE and he's not mentally retarded or anything, he's just a fucking moron and you wanna tell him something but your heart is too kind to mess with this kid's fantasy

yea my high school had that, except he was mentally retarded and he didn't just do it in PE he did it anywhere, everywhere, from one class to the next across the halls, and he wore his leaf village headband at all times
I pretty much only still watch because I've already watched so fucking much that I feel obligated to see it through to the end. The story is convoluted and they like to make you hate the characters because of how stupid they can be, but the fights are entertaining and some (not all) of the comedy can be good, so it's enough for me to stick with it. Though I'm still back at the reanimated kage, stopped watching months ago and haven't gone back yet.

It reached a point were it is so terrible, it's amazing. I really like this series. To bad it's nearing its conclusion. They just have to beat the [sp]sexy horned alien space/time controlling bunny goddess[/sp] and it's over.
Well I watched it since 2003 or whatever, I'm glad its ending (i hope) the animation on the anime has gone worse and since the pain arc it doesn't feel like naruto anymore its dbz.
Seriously Madara plotted everything yeah right what an asspull he should have been dead, that's what history is about, Kishimoto has ruined it. I don't even give a shit who Kayugaguyiaiasiagagawhatever is.
I stopped watching naruto. The plot progress is painfully slow. And around the time I stopped watching it, the episodes consisted of 50% emotional flashback of the earlier episodes.
We watched Naruto in high-school, which was over 8 years ago or something.
Even as a kid I was annoyed by the amount of filler.

Yeah, I was blown away by the amount of quality when one of my college friends introduced me to the games.
i watched it until the war started and then i stopped
i remember watching the early episodes years back.
it was depressing during its infancy with that rich business guy economically strangling a poor country to death and had a bunch of thugs go around terrorizing the people, then naruto went and punch some stupid kid in the face for being pessimistic.
i keep up with the manga because it's like seeing some talented dude who's going places develop a meth addiction and watch it destroy him, and you can't help but want to see how it ends.

Yeah, that guy. And he got his nerves scrambled or something, so nothing he meant to do pulled the correct muscle. But because he's a genius or some bullshit, he re-learns in seconds how to control his body and keep fighting... yeah, I don't think so. That's not badass, that's contrived.
Then Naruto masters the super water-balloon spirit bomb thing and uses it to beat the BIGGER bad guy. I forget if it was the snake-themed guy or not.
I kinda lost interest after that.
I stopped the manga since Pain attacked the Leaf village/ Sasuke vs Itachi fight.
Apparently they killed off some characters but decided to revive them for some bullshit reason.
I just bought Storm 3 Full Burst on Steam because why not.
