Why is it called "Ahsoka's death" if we never saw her actually die?
Its a setup, no one died....
Why is it called "Ahsoka's death" if we never saw her actually die?
while i agree its kinda a shame we didnt see her get rolled (as would be the case in all actuality), its pretty much implied that she dies here. there is no way that even she could stand a chance against vader. they did a fantastic job showing exactly how powerful vader is in this, he barely flinched (Aside from the sneak attack while he was busy with the force pull and the whole temple collapsing thing) at all during the fight, while ahsoka was clearly holding her own but getting worn down like a motherfucker. was a really cool scene imho, seeing vader partially demasked brings a lot to the character. you dont really understand how much hate fuels the fucker when all you can see is the helmet, and by the time we see his face in episode 6 he's pulled the face turn.

I don't think Vader and Ahsoka were given that much time to fight considering the place blew up a few seconds after the Phantom left. Filoni would never kill off Ahsoka, she's still alive.
great episode. really like where the series is going after this one. wasn't too sure before hand.

imho ashoka was a shit character and im glad shes dead
This really showed just how savage [DEL]Darth[/DEL]Maul really is. He killed all 3 inquisitors really fast, showing they were trained just enough to hunt Jedi, but they are no match to...rebel (I'll show myself the door for that one) against their Masters, and that Maul doesn't fuck around. Vader's eye was the perfect contraction when he said "Then you will die". This episode was just perfect. This episode was just...too good.
i'm assuming this art style is an acquired taste? having not seen this show before aside from previews, this looks... pretty bad. the dialogue seems average compared to most Star Wars TV stuff, but i can't get past these floaty, janky motions and weird facial movements. and what's the deal with those light sabers?
I do like the contrast between the more 'heavy fencer' style Vader's known for versus Ahsoka's more Prequel-esque flourishing from Clone Wars, it really provides a good example of how much Anakin changed compared to his old ways (and the infamously overblown final battle of Episode 3).
I'm gonna try to give this show another chance. I preferred the Clone wars, for the fact that it also revolved around the clones as much as the Jedi. It made me feel more for Stormtroopers in the end, because if I am correct, Stormtroopers come from Clonetroopers right?

So many designs are heavily nerfed from their counterparts in TCW TV show due to this. Vader is barely in it because just rendering the movement of Vader's cape is a huge hit to the budget.
Filoni said this would be the end of her story and she will not appear again unless someone comes up with a good story
Someone wrote up saying that Ahsoka is legit 100% dead but "alive" as a spirit on Malachor. How else and why else would she be entering the Sith Temple alone when it requires two. Entire episode showed that you need two to enter and exit the temple and move about it.

They're very similar to the theater version of Episode IV. [T]http://www.modelermagic.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/kg_mcquarrie-002.jpg[/T]
imho ashoka was a shit character and im glad shes dead
do you know how useless and rude are those hipster affirmations with no arguments on its favor?
The clips I've seen from this show seem really solid, but the art style is just so jarring and ugly to me. Vader actually looks really good, but he looks fucking out of place. I just can't get into this show because I cannot stand the art style. I don't know what they were thinking when they were drafting it.
[sp]In the end we see Ahsoka walking into a temple. Surely she hasn't become a force ghost. Has she, like the inquisitor that "died" in S1, become the protector of some kind of temple?[/sp] Have a nice (and spoilery) article with an interview: http://screenrant.com/star-wars-rebels-season-2-finale-sith-temple-ahsoka/
While you do see Ahsoka at the end, they have confirmed she won't be coming back in Rebels. The ending was meant to be ambiguous. Was that actually her? Was it a force ghost? An echo?
