Luigi wins by doing absolutely nothing
I've been doing this a while.
LOL trying this on my next playthrough
7:25, that was a close one
but what if everyone in the match does this and doesn't even realize

Cars in PUBG are really good as cover, even if you can't use them. I once got out of a really sticky situation, being sniped from a far-off hill, because I hid behind my destroyed buggy and waited for the sniper to come down and try to kill me. I prone-crawled around, hiding from him until I popped up and blew him away with a shotgun. Then I stole his valuables, ran up to where he was sniping me, stole his jeep and drove off.

So then you gotta shoot out the tires!

I just jumped out of the car rolling back down and then shot him back, landed a headshot :v:
This guy's laugh. I love it.
I managed a 3rd place finish by rolling my car and not getting out. No one expects there to be people in a flipped car.
That took patience for him to just sit there - I'd be scared of getting popped.
Battle Royale in its purest form.
wasn't this made harder to do in a recent patch? I remember everyone was doing this shitty tactic, and it was really frustrating being instakilled from a parked car. now, if you're in the car, the engine runs and the brakelights stay on, right?
Imo, they shouldn't do jack about it, it's your own fault if you don't check the car thoroughly enough.
If I recall the problem was less stuff like this and more stuff like "sniping out of the back seat of an overturned jeep" from what I heard there were people just sitting in upside-down cars the entire game like foxholes and it was getting ridiculous
Then the obvious solution should be to boot you out of the car when it's flipped over, not to add artificial hints, that somebody is sitting in a car, when it's stationary.
Imo, they shouldn't do jack about it, it's your own fault if you don't check the car thoroughly enough.
nah man, people were abusing it like Simplemac said. they'd park it in really dense bushes as well, so even if you know there's someone in the car, it's impossible to see them cause the bush is covering them, as well as the car. it was shitty behaviour, and it was just breeding toxic tactics. I'm glad the devs made it so a car's engine runs / brake lights stay on whilst someone is in it. if you legit think that's alright, then you're a masochist. sitting completely covered in a vehicle which doesn't impair your own vision, whilst giving you 20/20 peripheral vision is absolute wank.
Sounds to me like yet another example of why including 3rd person was a terrible decision and should have been purged from the start. Making cars more visible/noisy is a lame band-aid solution (and kinda goes totally against the survival theme of the game, cuz whos stupid enough IRL to keep the engine on when stationary and intending to stay hidden lmao) and doesn't fix the deeper actual issue.
nah we're on the same page regarding 3rd person, I've decided not to play pubg until 1st-person servers are a thing
