That'd be crazy to do, as you drive in first person you're always aware of how much of what you need to do, seeing from a third person perspective while you yourself are still in first.. It'd be really jarring. I imagine they must have had some practice before doing the run through.
I cannot wait untill cars are rigged with a controller and a built in drone for 3rd person
I remember people doing that with a 2D platformer, the guys who had to try it were confused as fuck.
Dude needs to play more GTA.
Something like this has to do with being able to project yourself into that view - that must've been really hard. It seems natural to control a VIDEO game character because you don't think of your keyboard in the way of being able to do that. I'd have been so disoriented if I tried this.

I think it would be the same as playing a third person racer, wearing a rift, and using a racing wheel controller.

i think the setup was done a bit better in this. more familiar camera view that's actually locked in third person rather than a camera controlled completely by someone else on some weird angles. although rooster teeth still didn't control the vehicle any better
This is a bit of a distant comparison, but this reminds me of the manhack arcade a little bit :v:
i hate the word drone. it's nothing but a buzzword. it's a goddamn hexacopter.

The camera is way too low to actually see what's in front of them, that's why.
It should be mounted higher and angled downward.
