Saw this a few places and was surprised that no one posted it yet:
Haha oh cool, I think this is an official video by the developers.
The original is scarier imo. The music, effect and Holmes noises makes this one too exaggerated.
That would make a good horror game where you're investigating a murder case in an everyday place and there are normal people everywhere like in real life during the start of the game. With you have a partner to investigate, but overtime creepy/scary things start happening and you see less and less people and your partner starts to behave strangely, muttering odd things, staring at you, twitching, walking off only to suddenly pop up behind you as you turn around. Eventually he goes batshit and you're running for your life from him trying to hide and stuff. At least I think it would be an interesting idea.

original was scary due to jaws theme being fitting
So is this a new game or them just making fun? Looks like something in CryEngine 3 or UE3. Would love to see an updated sherlock holmes game on a really powerful engine like those.

Am I the only one who noticed Elizabeth from bioshock infinite doing similar. I remember watching her shadow lifelessly sliding past and how she seems to appear out of nowhere.
Maja Holmes 3 days ago Poor Holmes! His best friend is better than Slenderman... xD*

In the case of the original video, I the game (Sherlock Holmes: Nemesis) didn't have the budget for proper walking animations so it could ONLY teleport Watson around. :v:
Look up a game called "Eversion"
Quite familiar, really liked it, many well executed elements. I was thinking about something closer to the game resembling the transition between Infinite's lighthouse and the sky city, except with the entire game consisting of that gradual reveal. Or Dark Corners of the Earth, except completely normal at the beginning, and endlessly more insane at the end, something that would make Cthulhu's madness seem like a midgame transition compared to what will actually be going down.
