oh and this one was posted in the other thread, has different commentary

The commentary is nice, explains a few things that were left from the multiplayer reveal.
Oh I love how the devs show off their games. Talking about always being in cover, yet the three guys when they come back don't shoot the guy standing on the very top of the crates out in the open.
Though the game does actually look like it could be fun for long enough to warrant a $60 purchase.
Can't wait to see the other classes. Self Heal is OP though.
I really don't like how bullet spongy everyone is

I quite like it. Small time to kill (TTK) doesn't really make many games more "tactical", on contrary, actually. With high TTK on one hand, you as a defender have some time to think, get to cover and retaliate, on the other hand, you as an attacker can gain the upper hand by exploiting your surprise advantage. Both require some brains. Making NPCs match or even outmatch players in health and armor department is a good way to make them something more than background farming targets, because they're dumb, they're never going to be as smart as players.
Now that they've explained what's going on, I'm not actually all that opposed to PvP of such manner. It's pretty much outright stated that they don't expect people to cooperate in "Dark zones", just to stay neutral. However, I still think there should be more of a 'punishment' to going rogue. It should really be high risk first, high reward second. Can't really think of any way to accomplish it, but attacking other players should make the odds of you surviving to extract your shit really slim. Like, next to non-existent, otherwise you'll have teams of friends that do nothing but farm loners and smaller groups, that shouldn't be happening. Soon enough such teams will get the best gear there is and start dominating everyone, because their style of play is the most effective.
Can't wait for The Division, it looks gorgeous and seem to play great nd fun!
I dunno, I see this becoming plagued with griefers.
But also I'm deeply sceptical of the game because its Ubisoft. I fully expect them to attach some kind of bastard child gimmick in regards to Online with the usual graphical downgrade. And Comm Towers.

I get what you're saying but it just feels really weird in this context. Guy is dumping multiple magazines into what is essentially an armed hobo. That makes sense games like destiny where you're fighting huge aliens and robots and shit but here it just seems ridiculous.

I agree that it looks rather... strange. But if there're sacrifices to be made, I'd personally prefer it would be common sense sacrificed to make the gameplay better.
