You may have seen the clip from the Golden Globes the other day where Jennifer responds to this foreigner in a really condescending way. I edited the clip a little bit... Hope you like it!
I don't get it.
It wasn't really condescending, she was obviously fatigued and didn't really want to be there. She was just telling him to stop living life behind a phone lol, big woop edit: I understand it was a situation of miscommunication

And look at her wag her finger. What the hell is she thinking? "You peasant, get off your phone when speaking to me!" That's how it looks.
Wow could you imagine thinking like this all the time I think you're too uppy about it bro
I find thinking prevents me from being offended over a cell phone. Maybe if she was thinking she could have avoided humiliating herself. The woman has so much, yet she can't hang onto her "fatigue" (as you call it) for even the time it takes for a reporter to finish their question. And for the record, it's "uppity" which I totally am if it makes you feel better about yourself.

While the editing was uncalled for, I do think the way she spoke to him was inappropriate. Not very professional at all.
condescending as fuck yeah but should we act as if she's just called him something racist or out of line? ofc not. lets not pull people up as if they've just murdered someone and demand apologies its really kinda trivial and its more on that person to realise that what they did just had an impact on peoples perceptions of them, now people respect them less, if they come to terms with that and apologies surely we can then allow our selves to see how much better of a person they are than we ever thought, unless of course their reasoning was dumb like "he shouldn't be a reporter if its slightly harder for him to ask a question". Other wise I think people should just allow that stuff to be ignored it is just people getting trying to get involved in things that isn't their business or start drama that no one needs rofl.
From her perspective it probably looked like he was holding up the phone in front of his face and recording her while talking to her or something, which would be really disrespectful if he was, but he wasn't. Now of course she probably didn't know that he was just using the phone as a translator, it looked like an honest mistake.
didnt realize phone translators were that advanced, pretty cool if they are.
Why are you guys making generalisations about this guy's personality based on a short video he made? You guys don't think you're overreacting? Unnecessary Dramapunch up in here. If he seems at all obsesssed about how much of a bitch this celebrity was this one time, it's because you guys are pushing him into defending what otherwise would have been a harmless video. I just watched the video. It wasn't even particularly offensive. I mean jeez, give the guy a break.
