was that a summon based off the buzz lightyear ride from disneyland?
Oh my god.
Looks like they really are expanding Flowmotion from 3D, and the combat flow looks more extensive than ever without relying on the Command Decks of the previous handheld games.
really liking the disney world rides being implemented into kh3.
Thunder mountain and now Buzz lightyear space ranger spin
Looks gorgeous.
Is Haley Joel Osment not making a return as Sora? Im not seeing him listed in the IMDB credits.

He might, but at this point he's way old to do Sora after all this time. The dissonance of his voice in D3 as the still 15 year old Sora is noticeable aka Bart Simpson Syndrome. Why not just make the cast older?
the story is way too anime for me but the gameplay and visuals have always been the satisfying save.
So when are Darth Vader and Spider-man going to appear?

I just hope that the MSEP pirate ship float isn't our Pirates ride rep.
The gameplay looks fucking rad but... the design looks kinda gay; and this is coming from a fan. It seems they listened to the "we love the disney aspect more" from fans and just made everything sparkle and twinkle like a barbie commercial.

The series has always been about hitting various cutesy or abominable monsters with giant keys as stars and other effects fly everywhere, and a boy with too many belts and some serious anime hair fights alongside Disney and Final Fantasy characters in the process. Not to mention that thanks to the power of the PS4/XBO and the UE4 engine, they really love having particle effects everywhere for this iteration.
Complaining about Kingdom Hearts looking 'kinda gay' is kind of ridiculous by this point.
10-year-old me is crying and 20-year-old me is also crying there is no difference i've waited for this so long

That's not what I was saying, I was merely speaking on the over-abundance of Cinderella sparkles present on every single effect.
I'd actually be okay with Disney forcing Star Wars into this.
Beating up Darth Vader with a giant key sounds super rad.

Honestly I can see Disney trying to force in the new trilogy (no pun intended) rather than the classics, for marketing's sake. Which would kind of blow since the Original Trilogy adds a lot of context and character, but it'd be impossible to do by the time frame of Kingdom Hearts without more time travel bullshit that already pissed people off beforehand.

To me there's such a massive separation between the handheld titles and the main series that I don't even compare them.

Dream Drop Distance ties into KH3 pretty directly. If there's any handheld to play I would say it's that one.
But combat wise, handheld titles are very different. I enjoyed the cards handheld game. but DreamDrop's combat was also fun. Though I did miss having goofy/donald as my teammates.
The thing I'm looking forward to most is BALANCE. Some of the summons in KH2 were really neat but all I needed to do to get through most battles was basic attacks, and if that didn't work the summons were hardly a help at all.
I'm worried they're gonna make all of that shit that's happened in the really weird spinoff games vital plot elements.
I mean I guess it's silly trying to process or follow the plot of the Kingdom heart games but man they go weird places.

Is this your first time looking at a Kingdom Hearts game? Or even your first time looking at a JRPG?

Birth By Sleep is going to be crucial. And Dream Drop Distance pretty much leads straight into the 2.8 HD release's prologue, which leads straight into KH3. And Dream Drop Distance acknowledges and references and sets up Coded and Days plot points to relevancy again.
KH3 is the conclusion for this arc of the franchise, so it's kind of inevitable that they'd have to make the side-games important somehow.
Man, when I fell in love with the first game I was just a boy. Now I am a grown man and I will feel silly playing this but god damn it I'm gonna do it anyway. Gotta know how it all ends for Sora.

Sometimes you pressed Triangle too, Where's the Gummyship that was the best part of 2
Took me 3 rewatches to realize that tower at the beginning is from Tangled.
Really happy they're giving that movie some recognition.
The animation at 0:19 as Sora steps around Goofy when he runs into him
HNNG
Personally my favorite thing about Kingdom Hearts is the soundtrack and i have yet to hear any new piece of music, for every trailer so far they have been reusing soundtrack from other games.
Makes me think they got something really awesome planned for the OST.
Man, I got to catch up on the handheld games before III comes out.
I heard the story because kind of a clusterfuck, like Xemnas/whoeverthefuck just wont stay dead/theres always another clonething.
