Wow, I never realized a fictitious show could objectively prove something like that. I'm not saying they're wrong, but seriously, Breaking Bad tells us nothing about the war on drugs. It's just the portrayal of drug culture by a team of writers.
How does Breaking Bad prove anything? Is that like Game of Thrones proving that dragons aren't extinct?
that music is just as ridiculous as the video
Wow, I never realized a fictitious show could objectively prove something like that.
I was a few seconds into the video when I saw your post and wanted to reply that they can. Aristotle used stories and fiction to get his points across. One example in particular is that it would usually be two characters in the story having a conversation. Aristotle did this because there was heavy censorship in his time. By letting his fictional characters converse the ideas, Aristotle himself could not be held accountable. A fictitious show can get a philosophical point across, it can sketch an image of a situation from the writer's perspective. It can show insights that the writers think should be highlighted. Then I watched the rest of the video, and it's nothing more than breaking bad proves the drug war only causes violence because <end of video>. This video is worth nothing at all. I don't watch Breaking Bad. It could be that the writers use it not just for entertainment and sales, but also to try to get a point across. Many shows do this, I'm always surprised when there are shows that show no hidden meaning at all.
you don't have to watch Breaking Bad to see that the drug war is failed as hell, just look at statistics, or history. Maybe even both!
