Why did you feel it was necessary to film yourself instead of just doing a voice over like a normal person? The way you act in front of the camera makes it seem like you really don't give a shit about what you're saying. The monotone voice doesn't help either.

There was no feeling of necessity, just felt like doing it this way.
Friend played it and showed me the porno mags. It was kind of awkward when his mom walked in the front door the moment he picked one up.
Your microphone positioning is awful which explains the poor voice quality. Put it lower down and don't rest the input on your skin.

Well my native language is Russian so I guess it would, as I tend to sound more towards a generic British when I speak slowly and concentrate; when I speak fast though, I tend to sound more American. Either way it sounds fake-ish. Dunno what to do, really.

It's a crappy mic though, and it's going to catch a lot of noise from the PC and the A/C. I'll put it a bit lower next time but it won't sound really good until I get a decent shotgun mic.

Also, this convinced me to download the demo, because I couldn't hear you at all and the gameplay looked fun.
The only problem with this is that you acted as though you didn't care and didn't take time to prepare for the shoot. It's like you said, "I have an idea I should give my first impressions on Mafia 2. I should do the review RIGHT NOW." Also, you sound drunk and/or high, but otherwise, great vid.

Your mics not gonna suddenly catch the noise from your PC or your A/C just buy moving it a couple inches downward. Also, there is no reason to use a shotgun mic for interview type things such as reviews because you're not going to be that far away from the camera.
