Luke Doerner's 110km/h dragflick saved by Aussie keeper George Bazeley. Not during a game but still amazing.
Imagine that hitting you in the face.
Holy shit I flinched hard. :v:
These fucking 30 second videos, WHY WONT THEY LOAD!
Imagine that hitting you in the face.
I've had one get lodged in between my helmet spokes before, aaaaaaa
That's pretty impressive. I'd have my hand up when the ball hits the ground.
You know, they aren't allowed to wear caps in hockey anymore. Some short kid in a under 12's hockey league was wearing a cap and unluckily, the brim of the hat hit a taller kid's windpipe. It crushed it and the kid suffocated on the field.
They say its soft sport, a woman recently got hit in the back of the head in WA, she died on the way to hospital.
Cap?
Soft hat with a rounded crown and stiff brim/bill on the front. Often contains logos. Widely known as a baseball cap. Trucker hats are variations with mesh backs. Both variations often have a velcro or other type of band in the back to allow adjustment.

Jesus that even made me flinch
I don't know... it's only 68 mph. Baseball players routinely deal with 90+ mph both hitting and catching.
I used to be a hockey goalie, the bruises you get from that shit is ridiculous. Every one of the players assumes that because you've got padding on you're completely safe, but it still hurts like a bitch, and your entire job is to jump in front of a ball being hit as hard as possible straight towards you
