Why the fuck WOULD you text in a theatre. If you're not gonna pay attention to what's on screen you should just stay at home.
I mean, even if it's an emergency, you can get up and walk outside the theatre room.

To be honest, I'm actually starting to lose interest in going to cinemas, in part due to texters and talkers
I love the alamo. one of the many perks of living in austin. Ive used my phone in there though to read the menu, never had a issue. This girl just sound like she was a bitch, and probably treated the wait staff like trash. A quick way to get kicked out.
i sometimes text but only if it's my mom. and i feel rude so i put the screen light at 0% so i can hardly see what i'm doing.

Someone probably asked her not to, which may have been impolite but i bet she made a big deal out of it, kicking up a fuss making the staff tell her to leave. Its happened quite a lot in the odeon down the road from me. situation goes a little like this "sorry, could you keep your voice down/turn your phone off? I'm trying to watch a movie" "WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU TELLIN ME WHAT TO DO?" and so on, they then get kicked out.
Mind you, thats just a guess from past experience.

It's annoying because of the light from the screen, and I have friends that get a glare on their glasses from it.
