[hd]https://youtu.be/_WVEo4yXpho[/hd] Recently, the creator of the Assassins Creed game series Patrice Desilets sued Ubisoft to get the rights back of the game and until a week ago he finally got the rights back. Now he released this short video of pre-alpha footage of the unreleased game that was supposed to be released for the 360 and PS3. The game was supposed to have the player play as a evil character and to act "worse then the devil himself" by having the ability to use dark magic to take over control of animals and such. The footage of what you see now will (most likely) not be used in the new 1666 Amsterdam game that will be developed later on but it captures the setting of the golden age of Amsterdam. Man what a shame, looked really great actually. I never got dragged into Assassin's Creed, got halfway through the first one and it just felt like something was missing stylistically. It's pretty obvious that he developed the idea further to produce a game that could have different camera angles through animals as part of the gameplay adding some of that cinematic finish Creed was missing. The whole evil aspect hasn't been done in this style either, him being a kind of plague doctor just makes me wonder of the motives they had lined up for him. Shame really, the new release is probably just more reused gameplay from Creed without the same amount of class.
oh fuck me that looked really damn cool Looking back at all these unreleased games that might have been really cool is just the worst.
