All settings on highest without AA and Physx. Avrg FPS: 50-60 W/ All Settings On Highest. I am glad to say that this game runs very, very well. And also very happy that they kept alot of the aspects of the original game and not make it into a total gta knockoff. This game is defiantly a buy for me. PC Specs: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @2.40Ghz EVGA Geforce 9800 GTX+ SSC Edition Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS4P/DS4 Motherboard 8gb Of DDR2 G-Skill RAM Corsair 750w Power Supply MS Windows 7 RC Build 7100 x64 21.5" Asus VH226H LCD 1080P Monitor
This is more of a CPU based game, overclocked the shit out of your Q6600.
I'm guessing this has 360 controller capability then?
Fucking LOUD.
What's up with the extreme blur at certain times?
I can run this game without Physx but with AA on, looks absolutely amazing and runs incredibly smooth. I might upload a video of it sometime. I'm running (for those who give a shit): AMD Athlon 64 X2 @3.2Ghz ATI Radeon 5850 1GB 6GB DDR2 RAM 1066Mhz
What's up with the extreme blur at certain times?
I assume it's because he drank 3 bottles of booze.
Here is how it runs on my pc AMD Phenom 9650 Quad Core 2.3ghz 4GB DDR 3 RAM Nvidia GeForce G100 (a renamed 9400GT) with 512mb VRAM All at their stock clocks running windows 7 if it matters. Everything was on lowest including the resolution. Edit: Without fraps on it runs at about 25 fps everywhere. Its okay for me but I think I will have to get this one on console.
snip
I'm gonna try it out in a bit..looks interesting.
What's up with the extreme blur at certain times?
Motion blur is used to hide texture loading and generally bad graphics on console games.
id like to see physx on high gameplay
Motion blur is used to hide texture loading and generally bad graphics on console games.
it's on the PC and it was because he was drunk :downs:
I enjoyed this demo for a while.. although I'm not too sure about the shooting... just doesn't feel right...
it's on the PC and it was because he was drunk :downs:
Because developers totally did two different game versions. I'm getting stupid blur too, and i did not drank anything.
Gotta love the fact that in the beginning, the game said "This level has NOTHING to do with the real game"
This game isn't exactly hard to run. I can run it on max with a 4850, E7400 and 4 gigs of RAM. Without physx because I don't have an nvida card. [editline]08:06PM[/editline] I love the game though.
Because developers totally did two different game versions. And they probably did, the graphics on the Pc are better if you look at those comparison thingies.
All these showing off ooo look i have this gfx card and run like this is getting annoying.
Motion blur is used to hide texture loading and generally bad graphics on console games.
That's funny because the PC and console versions hardly look different from each other in this game. :colbert:
That's funny because the PC and console versions hardly look different from each other in this game. :colbert:
That's what you think, but the majority of console games are running on low-medium graphical settings.
Having PhysX enabled will destroy your framerate. I go from 60 to 10 with it on.
I tried the settings OP used, Now the game looks pretty and handles really good. Thanks OP :v:
I'm using a ATI 5850HD with a Nvidia 8800GT as a dedicated physics card and on everything high it still creeps down to 15-25fps at extreme parts...
Motion blur is used to hide texture loading and generally bad graphics on console games.
he probably means depth of field
Why is your intro the mushroomhead logo?
I wonder when they will figure out that PhysX or any kind of GPU powered physics software will never go mainstream unless it is available on both GPU vendors. It will forever remain visual fluff and never a crucial gameplay mechanic unless someone makes these physics capabilities a non-exclusive.
That's what you think, but the majority of console games are running on low-medium graphical settings.
In this game's case are you talking from experience or are you just speculating? There are exceptions to that and this game is one of them.
In this game's case are you talking from experience or are you just speculating? I know that is the case for GTA IV, and it was developed on the consoles first.
