Backstory: For my dynamics class we need to look at a real world application of what we've learned in class, and do a paper + lab experiments on it. Our group chose to look at Hot Wheels, and we had a bit too much fun playing around with our phone recordings when everything arrived.

We will be going to the labs soon to record speeds and whatnot, but the coolest part is that we will get to use a [B]$20,000 Professional High Speed Camera[/B] to record our experiments.
What should we record with the high speed camera during our experiments?

How about how the cars move along banked turns?
There are a bunch of launcher things for hotwheels tracks, ones that use a wheel on top and ones that use two on the sides. Try both in slow mo.

I remember when hotwheels tracks were a circuit with a booster where with the right car, it can go on until the battery run out. Now it's just those 'set-up once and go' and when it's finished, you have to reset the whole thing.
What cameras do you get to use? Phantom cameras?

Haven't seen the camera or lab, website says up to 1 million fps. We will likely be far lower around 1000 fps so data management and lighting aren't issues.

Guessing it's either an Edgertronic or a Phantom camera then.
