How does it taste? Because I tried that "brownie in a cup" thing once and it was disgusting.

Made this, been 20 min in the fridge and still flows a little so i think i used too much condensed milk. On a side note, i had no idea that condensed milk can go bad, i opened a can and it was dark brown and congealed into a semi-solid slug, smelled like ass so i threw it out. I might give this a go tomorrow, but I've cooked fudge several times in the conventional way using a hob and heavy based pot, and believe me when I say it's finicky as fuck and made me wish I had a sugar thermometer. Temperature is key, in addition to how you've stirred it. Overheat the fudge or underheat it, and it's fucked. (though you can save undercooked fudge if you remelt it, quality goes down) Still, could work, though I'd advise against oversweet chocolate - condensed milk is pretty much pure sugar. Stick to a good dark chocolate. (though with a student budget, I'd try this with cheap chocolate)

It's not finicky at all, i've made hard candy and that was finicky as shit, i left it on for 10 seconds too long and burned the sugar just enough to turn it brown, was intending on making a sheet of clear sugar glass.

brownie in a cup works better with protein powder for some reason. still tastes like ass, but it's passable. it was pretty much the only dessert i could eat on my ketogenic diet.
