I think I have more memorable gaming moments on Gibraltar alone than I do on every other FPS.

It would be awesome, but I be really disappointed if they didn't go all out.
I really hate expansions with only 3 maps and none of the cool features that made the originals epic.
Fuck this game was awesome. If they made a 2143 I'd be on that shit in a heartbeat.
I remember my dad buying the game for my birthday unannounced and unasked for... he knew I liked Battlefield.
Are there still populated servers for this? I'm really tempted to re install it.

I can't play it due to punkbuster kicking me out of every server instantly.
tried to solve the problem for months but failed. EA's support was completely and utterly useless at helping.
It's a shame they dumped this for "Modern Warfare," like that hasn't been done enough times already...
Titan gamemode was so fun.
Still the best BF game.
Back when EA still cared about originality.

If they create 2143 I still wouldn't buy it because it would be lousy anyway, seeing how BF3 was.

Such a great game, shotgun + heartbeat sensor in the Titan or on Gibraltar.
Fuck me, I loved hauling ass off of the titan's once their core was zapped. I have fond memories of sprinting besides the enemy in a dash for the finish.
The command element of this game was great too.

Not very many. I installed it a few months ago and there were like 2 populated servers, all of which had pings of 180+
I was one of Swedens best players, fucking loved the shit out of that game.
Had one of those weird unique ranks for like 3 months.
Legitimately the only mode I would play would be Titan mode because of ludicrously good it was. Sometimes you have the team that just steams rolls or gets steam rolled. Or the team that's titan is getting boarded and managing to defend it good enough to attack the enemies and destroy their titan.

You have to manually update Punkbuster for it. I used to have the same problem for BF2 and 2142 with that.

I'm so glad that there is a permanent Gibraltar server running 24/7.
It makes me sad I didn't have a decent enough computer to play this until 2008 then I could have memories playing this in its golden days.
this game would've been a lot more popular if it weren't so broken half of the time. I loved it, myself, but wow.
Welp time to re install this, really hope people still play this..re installed Hitman:Blood Money recently as well, its still really fun.
