The biggest thing to come along since TV was invented! Any chance anyone will say that about the PS4? kinda sucks that they gradually killed the online games without a dedicated server release or anything, though, I will never experience MGO :(
There's no way the PS4 will be that big. Also I'm going to laugh so incredibly fucking hard if they don't announce their next console on the 20th.
what i find even more amazing is that they continue to support the ps2 to this day

I fucking loved the games for the PS2. Its a shame they can't get another console as good as it was to come out.

The.... Eye Toy?
The.... Eye Toy?
Basically the kinect but it had good games.
The.... Eye Toy?
Hitting tiny little ninja's with your hands as they fly around the screen trying to hit you was cool as fuck when I was 12.

I honestly don't think any console can ever rivals the sheer number and quality of the games library of the PS2
I loved the PS2, it had so many good games and there were always cheap used games at all the local stores.
Still have my PS2 from 10 years ago and it works like brand new. I am never giving it up, or away.
I keep meaning to grab a new PS2 before they finally run out of stock.
Just grab a fatty off of ebay.
Fat PS2 was best PS2.
Do old PS2's besides the HD bay have specific benefits? I tried understanding them on wikipedia.
Do old PS2's besides the HD bay have specific benefits? I tried understanding them on wikipedia.
the hard drive bay was used for a few MMO's and other online games that i guaranteed are shut down
Do old PS2's besides the HD bay have specific benefits? I tried understanding them on wikipedia.
Better cooling and you can't run McBoot on the newest (SCPH-9xxxx I think) slimline ones.
the hard drive bay was used for a few MMO's and other online games that i guaranteed are shut down
Sony's HDD Utility allowed you to back up your memory cards to the drive. Also Final Fantasy XI required the drive for gameplay, as did Sony's release of Linux for the PS2.

I only plan on using it for games. I only really had a N64 for console games and a few gamecube titles. I completely missed personally playing through the last gen of consoles like PS2 and Xbox. I wanted to get a PS2 to start enjoying games I never got to.
I am so fucking glad I was alive during that time also I have a fat ps2 laying in my closet still but I need to find the cords for it God the PS2 was a fucking amazing game system

His dresser still has molten plastic embedded in the wood.

I read that some of the earlier slims had heat issues. Newer ones are much better supposedly. Edit: I wish the current PS3's had good backwards compatibility for PS2 games and I'd just get the new PS3 UltraSlim thing
I wish I never got rid of my PS2
Edit: I wish the current PS3's had good backwards compatibility for PS2 games and I'd just get the new PS3 UltraSlim thing
The software emulation mode for the PS3 is incompatible with AR Max. You boot it and the console crashes. :v: Not sure if the original GS equipped PS3's worked with it though.
