I don't understand why conservatives are so married to climate change denial. I mean, at least with abortion, they have some sort of moral dilemma (which I disagree with but still, I can at least understand why they feel that way). What is the motivation for climate change denial? What is so difficult to accept about it?? Is it because they don't want environmental regulations on corporations, is that really the entire motivating force behind claiming that nearly every scientist on the planet is in on some massive conspiracy?

My god the comments are a putrid mess, even for youtube's standards

Fox News and conservatives pundits make up bullshit rhetoric to convince the Republican voter. Don't forget the fact that many liberal voters/Democrats are huge proponents for environmental regulations, which means many conservative voters will take the opposite viewpoint without thinking about it because they feel that's what they're always supposed to do. That's all there really is to it.
kill me
I wouldn't take the Harambe trump hat user seriously btw.
Weather Channel actually going and doing this is pretty cool, really didn't expect this.
kill me
ah yes, (((meteorology))) People that actually think weather forecasts are meant to be 100% completely utterly accurate are weird. It's supposed to give you a good idea of what the conditions will be like in the future, not give you a complete guarantee. There's less speculation in meteorology than some other forms of news media even. Those commenters are dumb. I'd love to see a right-wing weather forecaster that doesn't do "fake news".
kill me
this is on the same level as "i found this ice cube in my refrigerator, and those darn scentists want to tell me that global warming is real???" which is, uh, something a senator in the united states congress actually did [t]http://i.imgur.com/2eOIfGR.jpg[/t] we're fucked
People don't seem to know the difference between weather and climate.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/SzWWXxi.png[/t] An advert by Greenpeace warning about climate change on the response article. Wew
Come on man, I can't sleep when my blood is fucking boiling like this
My family has been 100% triggered by this. I've never seen people who don't understand science be so offended by science. Then again, my dad tried to pour out a bottle of water on the ground to prove some dumb anti-warming point last time I visited so I don't know what I expected.

God the "america is tired of experts" trend is so patently ridiculous If you had to get your car repaired would you go to your pal Sydney who's never worked on a car in his life but knows some people that worked on cars that say garages are going about it all wrong, or would you go to a fucking garage?
I hope the amount of obfuscation and bullshit weve been perpwtually bombarded with is clear to later generations when they ask why the fuck we didnt do anything sooner. Fifty fucking years man weve know for fifty fucking years. And we still have to deal with this bullshit.
i hate the fact that "our planet is dying and we need to stop and think of our actions" is a political problem people in the comments are saying "report on the weather not politics" and like, they did exactly that in response to their data being used incorrectly. come the fuck on.
God the "america is tired of experts" trend is so patently ridiculous
This isn't an America thing, there's a global rise in anti intellectualism that nobody wants to talk about.
wrecked. People that deny climate change in this day and age are those you wish evolution would kill during birth

I've said this before but I really hope "climate change doesn't exist" becomes as stupid as saying "water isn't wet" sometime soon. I hate that people think it's an opinion.

in a cooler world, hillary referred to half of trump supporters as "pig fuckers" and all of these guys would have usernames like "pig fucker mike"
