That thing is like something out of 40K.
We should be implementing robots like this wherever we can imo. We shouldn't be holding ourselves back with jobs like turning a sign 180 degrees at construction sites, and repetitive mechanical motion like this. We are past that, and we SHOULD be able to use those benefits to lift the lower parts of society up. But no, muh moneys.

$11/hour for what they're doing on that thing isn't half bad to be honest. I expected absolute minimum wage

For immigrant farmers though that will be operating the machinery and the factory, the three dollar difference and the convenience of the new machinery would be a great blessing.
Not exactly a robot I don't think. Just a glorified picking station. I think they have these for harvesting pretty much anything. Problem is getting people to invest in them, the thing in the video is worth at least $300,000 to $500,000

"a machine capable of carrying out a complex series of actions automatically"
It's a robot. "a machine capable of carrying out a complex series of actions automatically"
Yeah, perhaps you're right. I just had it in my head that robots have to be completely autonomous where's this one still needs a human assistance and people working on the conveyor. Essentially the question is, when the robots take over jobs, what is left for humans to do, especially low skilled people.
Using a high-pressure waterbeam is really clever.
