my sides :v:
Interesting points.
I don't have any opinions against PC or Console.. but I love both of them.
It's not fair to compare anything to the N64.
The guy is an idiot, though.
Interesting points.

Except for like 2 of them, they are all horrible points.
Consoles are better because TVs are better than computer screens? People connect computers to TVs and consoles to computer monitors. What kind of a point is that?
lol
#5 is the most ironic point..
-snip-
It's an amateur video, what did you expect? Professional fucking points?
I'm not bitching about his points because they don't really affect anything. Yes, he may of been a little off with his reasoning, but for the most part they are fairly valid opinions.
"computers are not made to play games"
are you fucking seriously saying that
consoles are just stripped down computers, you ignorant kid, you can use controllers on a PC
Also, he mouse gives more room to aim with more precision, thus taking less precision to actually aim than a joy-stick. Not only that, but customizable controls are available on a keyboard, and you can get controllers and this for games

"Virus's"
thats kind of a stupid point, because consoles die as well you know
"Rockband"
fuck off and die, that doesn't count, that's 100% preference.
"torrents"
you can pirate on console too btw, and its barely even an issue
"tv"

I've been using a PC on a TV screen for years.
also, you're dumb, and PC graphics are much more up to date
"Hl2 was scary"
wow, you are a pussy
"PC gamers = whiners"
ok then why do I never see 12 year old's screaming on mic on PC, but when I play xbox 360, I hear this almost every server?
Also, you act like a whiney stuck up bitch who thinks he's better than everyone else, great job.
"Macs are better than PC's"
Fair enough, but they're far overpriced by a closed mined capitalist pig corperation
"Local multiplayer"

Console has split screen because who the fuck wants to play on PC like that?
"Specifications"
It's not that hard to get to that, and custom PC's are very easy to get and build, and rather cheap, not only that, but actually up to date.
You don't need exactly that either, you just need something around that to run it and you're fine.
"Constant upgrade"
Yeah except the games you buy are only as good as the console, and out of date.
TL;DR, the guy in a video is a fuck-wit idiot and doesn't know what he's talking about because he's a console fan boy and doesn't realize its all out of personal preference.
but for the most part they are fairly valid opinions.
rofl ok
I can't believe I sat through and watched the whole thing. There are 2 points I can tolerate; That PC gamers can be whiny and local multiplayer (which is not the case with some PC games). Everything else is just ignorance.

everybody on everything is whiny
that point is invalid

...how
10. I actually agree in the line of platformers; I genuinely do like them on a console more. The reason mice dominate the shooter scene is because of the range of what you're allowed to do on them. With a joystick, you only have a tiny gap between full turn, and no turn. A mouse you can go from finite precision moves to whipping around 180 degrees with no problems what so ever. The point is a bit moot, though, because unless it's an inter-platform game, everyone's on the same level. The time console gamers were allowed to play against PC gamers on Unreal Tournament, the difference in scores was absolutely embarrassing for the console gamers.
9. Counter-Point: Consoles have little to no modding capacity and if they fail, you replace the whole thing. Period. No room for upgrading either, if a new console comes out, you have to eventually step up. PCs can just be upgraded for far cheaper. If you have a brain, you won't get viruses.
8. Not only are there Guitar Hero equivalents, but they allow custom music and are usually cheap or free. Consoles have exclusive games, yes, but there's almost as many for PC as well as -once again- modding capacity.
7. Huh, what? There's a ton of torrents out there for console games. This point is just silly. This whole stereotype that people who torrent are evil, shady, Russian people is just ignorant at best. Most are common folk without the money to dish out for every new, $60 rehashed game. To go even further, many later buy games they enjoyed. PC companies are counter-acting torrenting by trying to offer better service than what a torrent could ever provide. (Steam.)
6. Bigger screen, lower resolution. Not to mention I can easily hook up my computer to my HDTV. It's just more convenient to have a larger resolution monitor on a nice, organized desk.
5. This couldn't be more the reverse unless your in the wrong community. All I ever got on my ancient XBox 360 was either teenagers or little kids dropping swear words as many times as they can a second. The L4D2 spin-off was just so off point it's not even worth mentioning.
4. I wouldn't mind a Mac for some movie or video editing, but I can do all such things on my Windows just fine. Unless you're technologically challenged, it's not that complicated.
3. Holy shit, a point I agree with. It is quite nice to have some friends hop in and play some Brawl or Halo.
2. It is nice to buy a console game and just have it work, but the PC specifications aren't a big deal. Usually if you're smart enough to own and operate a computer, as well as purchase games for it, you can understand what specifications are and when it's not a good idea to try to run some current-gen game on a $200 budget machine.
1. I could sit here and twiddle with this one all day, but it's really simple. When a new console comes out. You're done. No upgrading, period. You may not even be able to cash in your old one if the new system doesn't support your games. (Thankfully, most current generation systems did until the PS3 cut it out.) Not only can you upgrade a PC for quite a small amount of money, but it retains all those games, programs and data you had. There's usually a lot more free content floating around for PC, and to top it all off, you only pay for your internet service. There's no extra fee on top of it just to allow access to online games; for a service that's usually obnoxious in every regard. Games for Windows Live did dig it's claws into a few good games, but you can always just turn it off with the know how. Oh, and did I mention multitasking? I'd love someone try to say how they were able to chat, listen to music, browse the internet and play a game all from the same seat.
In short, consoles are great if you have friends who visit a lot, or siblings. They're also good if you're on a budget and don't feel like thinking. In honesty, they just go side-by-side with PCs. I love my computer just as much as I love my N64; so I have both. I'll just as easily play with some friends on TF2 as I will trash some other friends on Mario Kart 64.

How did I not remember that part... Jesus am I that dumb?
Also, personally, I agree, consoles are great "Buy it, grab a game, and play" systems, but PC IMHO is bar none far superior, unless you don't like sitting down and having a little patience with it. Sometimes, I don't want to set things up for a new game, I'd rather just plug and play.
this is a pretty subtle troll video
The only part I could almost agree with is the "Computers aren't for games.".
To which I agree, PC's weren't built for games and due to that I would be inclined to say Consoles are more for gaming as they are dedicated gaming machines. (I know more modern consoles have media options too but at core they are for gaming.) But that doesn't make PC gaming inferior by any means.
Other than that, this guys a fucking dip shit.
How did I not remember that part... Jesus am I that dumb?
It was a counter point. I didn't even feel like saying why the virus point was stupid. I'd post this on YouTube, but it'd drown in comments I could care less about. I just wrote this up to kill some time while dinner cooks.
he's a complete idiot
Obvious troll is obvious (Consoles are better than PCs because Macs are better than PCs? Really?) especially considering this video on his account.

Rockband: So now he's being biases against pc gaming cause you have rockband on the xbox.
Torrents: Eurgh, at this point I just give up just to prove how wrong he is but I think he just makes himself look kind of stupid. I do wish you could play like up to 4 people on a computer though. I have 2 monitors so I think it would be an awesome idea!
I'm pretty sure he's trolling, and he's a pretty good troll.

I was going to get a g700, now I want that as well
that looks amazing, holy crap.
Speaking of viruses, I use Microsoft Essentials, that's actually free, and something called "Common Sense". Not a single virus, and I've had this system since Seven launched.
Found a good response video

what a bigot he should just hang himself till he knows his facts

No reasonable person will hate others because of the platform they use.
PC > Console rants are just as retarded as Console > PC.
Do you want to buy mw2?
No!
Do you have a PS3 or Xbox 360?
Wii!
He said why would you buy a pc to play games when a console is cheaper.
Why buy a Mac when a pc is a fuckton cheaper? :v:
