I'm surprised this hasn't been posted yet.
I didn't even know you could command troops in Brutal Legend, I thought it was all just fighting by yourself.

I hope I was not the only one who figured out all the secondary stuff (The "Hidden stuff" he complains isn't well enough explained) before I started the second mission.
Also, I've found I agree less and less with Yahtzee lately. He is fun to listen to, and he makes some good points, but I don't find him that good as a reviewer.
Yeah, mostly his reviews are just supposed to be funny. And they are.
I don't really take anything he says about what he reviews seriously.
I suppose he's a bit pissed off about what EA did to him and thats why he rated it low.

You do realize that his opinion is not the point for his reviews, right? He is not a reviewer in a traditional sense but more of a weekly episodic parody of various games. I agree with you though, I liked Brutal Legend.
