Well yeah. If you leave chocolate alone for too long the eggs inside will hatch eventually and it'll be swarming with cocoa/almond moth larvae.

I didn't know Cadbury had expanded their cream egg program so far that there are cream eggs inside all chocolate, and they can hatch into larvae

I think there are mesopotanian or iron age frozen potatoes that were still good. I remember reading about it in a Horrible Histories book way back when but I'm not too sure which, or the validaty of the claim.
