Is this an april fools joke or has Yahtzee lost all credibility entirely

How so?
I watched Totalbiscuit's video on this and find a critic who doesn't only appreciate games based on how they make your extremely expensive graphics cards seem like a good purchase. To me, it even looked like a reasonable game and now Yahtzee confirms that it could actually be good if it understood what it did right. Of course, doesn't yet look like a "good" game, but a step in the right direction. I'd still need to watch some more gameplay to understand it, but this is what we've got reviewers/critics for, right?

The ideas were good in theory but they were implemented on such a terrible scale. I'd rather pay for expensive AAA God of War than this piece of crap. Idea is worth nothing when the result is terrible. It really feels like War Z but singleplayer.
After seeing Total Biscuit's WTF is?, Angry Joe's review, and Giant Bomb's Quick Look I can't see how anyone could enjoy this game. It looks like shit.
Was really hoping for a Bioshock review this week but oh well.
Basically sounds like a shitty version of Zombi-U
I disagree on a few of his points. I think Ben Yahtzee is a humorist first and a reviewer second.
I may not have played this game but I have seen enough videos to know that the levels are incredibly linear and the survival element is almost non existent simply because the zombies are not very challenging and can be beaten through a QTE while the rest politely stand around.
The game is innovative in a sense. It's pretty clear that the team developing the game tried to making something different, something like Telltale that focused on characters as well as have alot of good action.
They failed miserably but the effort is clear. Activision probably didn't them much resources or time.

Activision just wanted a cheap cash-in from the success of the Telltale game.
I think yahtzee is just messing with everyone
Game wasn't great. Certainly wasn't a "pile of shit" everyone is making it out to be. Not worth $60 tho.
Game isn't worth even $30, horrible horrible game.

Sounds like he's gonna be extra cruel on Infinite to make up for it.

I think he likes to enjoy the games before he reviews them, bioshock is a diamond right now in the market so I'm sure he wants to play it to enjoy it.

You remember what he said in his crysis 3 review right? If two games comes out at once, he will most likely run through one of them over a weekend and slowly push himself through the second one over the next week. As he appears in his review, I can clearly tell Yhatzee isn't the kind of guy who "enjoys" games, but he spends most of his time pointing out faults he can make funny allegories for.
One of the major problems with I found with this game is the artstyle.
It (looks like it) changed halfway through the development stage to look more like the Telltale game.

Yeah the zombie faces look very comic book style.
