I missed this last time, so here's a rundown on the fan-made character Windblade.

Not to mention Windblade has already been cemented into the new TV series Robots in Disguise, and is rather prevalent in the current IDW comics. If any franchise has handled fan made characters well, it's Transformers.

Only downside is that Windblade here is a totally different character from IDW's Windblade; with the latter being a calm, caring, level-headed individual who acts as Metroplex's mouthpiece and serves as foil for the power-hungry, self-serving, and very loud Starscream who now rules Cybertron. Windblade here almost feels like a cross between Raiden from Metal Gear Solid: Revengeance and Ryuko Matoi from Kill la Kill, though I hope they explain why the sudden personality change.
Also keep in mind that this is a Machinma series, so they can't really afford a good number of A-list VA's for characters like Peter Cullen, let alone B-list actors.

I would have never guessed that those characters we're fan made. When I hear fan made, I think of deviantart OCs on the level of this guy:

TBF he has gotten better since IDW let someone else write Drift, but good god he was AWFUL starting out. Age of Extinction somehow made him WORSE!

Well the Michael Bay films did turn Optimus Prime into someone who executes his enemies while they beg for mercy.
He also liked taking people's faces.
