Title pretty much sums it up. But yeah it's a Steam Early Access game, so there's that as well.
Has a lot more character to it than Minecraft. I'll definitely give it a shot, especially if I can build vehicles.
I'll wait til the full release, but this is actually seems more lively and colorful than minecraft.
oh man this looks amazing
I bought it, looks like a better Lego Creator (the 1998 version), unlike Minecraft, you don't have craft, but you can build almost everything you want with some basics bricks.
The only thing it needs now, is multiplayer, vehicle parts (and be able to ride your vehicles) and more part like doors, windows...
It's funny atm.
Kind of reminds me of Cube World, except it has building and it's probably not a scam.
This looks pretty cool, lego always seems to make cool likable things no matter what.
I hope they add modding it would make it amazing.
I wonder if it will ever have any of the licensed sets pieces.
I want a X-Wing damn it.
I'm sure you could make anything that doesn't have custom pieces though.
It would be cool if they took the survival elements of Minecraft, right now the trailer looks like you can just run around and build what you want, which would be fun, but it'd be super sweet searching for that one brick you needed to finsih your house and finally finding it in a cave somewhere.
If it plays anything like a modern Lego Creator it will be sandbox game of the year every year.

I feel like I lose another $30 every time somebody brings it up
This actually is what I've been wanting since I was a kid. I remember as a kid building so many worlds and creating little adventures for my lego characters all around my house. Now it's amazing to see it actually come to life in a video game in a vast world. Sorry I'm getting too deep about this but my inner child is screaming of joy at the moment. I just hope I can recreate things I built as a kid and actually get them to work (Cars, Spaceships, Etc.)

It better have modding/scripting support if it wants to live
It'd be fun to create missions

It has LDD support which is pretty neat imo.
also my rig struggles to get any higher than 30fps 4gb r9 290 + FX8350. Hopefully down the line they will do some optimization
does it feature lego physics
I always figured the ultimate Lego game would be a lot like Minecraft in certain ways.

Not modding though.
I love how wobbly the camel is
Bit offtopic but can someone explain the Cubeworld thing to me?
Also I heard you can play as a fucking skeleton in this game

You know how people made jokes about Notch taking vacations since he bagged a ton of money on an incomplete game?
Well, this actually happened to cubeworld. And it's been 2 years so far.
Can't wait for the "What a rip-off! It's just Minecraft with LEGO!" reviews :v:

Multiplayer is actually planned, according to the little brief on the store page. So this will literally become the perfect Lego game.

Guy was making a game for a long time and updated about once a year.
Started accepting early access payments, game got hyped, people flooded in, bought, started screaming for monthly updates.
Fuck all happened for two years.

It's pretty much a console LEGO video game except without limits.
Seems like it would get stale eventually, like CW did. LDD support and eventual multiplayer makes it feel a little bit more like Blockland, though, and if this game includes weapons then it's probably going to be seen as the shining gem of 2015.

video games are so advanced that insane, unrealistic fantastical ideas of a grand scale that kids made in 200x are actually finally fully possible.
That 'dumb idea that'd never happened' has happened

You can't.
:c
if you could build vehicles in this game on the scale of robocraft/space engineers this would be the lego defining lego game
sad that you can't though
