If this shit starts appearing in video games, there will be no amount of force that will be able to hold back my erection.
I thought the first one was real. This shit is amazing!
-snip-
Holy fucking shit
Oh god, smexy. Now combine this with that engine Outerra.
I have seen this before. It has got to require a humongous amount of computing power.
I would love to have realflow or something like real liquid physics for like blood and stuff in a game. That would be awesome.
The gore! THE GORE! CAN YOU IMAGINE THE WONDERFUL GOOEY GORE WITH REAL LIQUID BLOOD PHYSICS?
FYI - this doesn't seem to be targeted at "real-time rendering". This is for speeding up editors for pre-calculated physics like movies or cinematics. Around the 2-minute mark, you can see a framerate counter. It's doing some VERY unimpressive-looking physics, and it's not even getting 10 FPS. Now, this is still pretty nice - I've done some stuff in Blender with physics, and it's rather difficult to edit because it's so slow to see the results - but this isn't going to affect gamers directly.
10 years from now this is what games will be like.
10 years from now this is what games will be like.
fuck i can't wait to DUPLICATE FUCKING BUNNIES MADE OUT OF HARD RUBBER
That bit when the cloth strips were flying against the wall looked real
10 years from now this is what games will be like.
More like 2-4 years.
I am impressed.
Holy shit
I am impressed.

Holy shit
It's rendered offline (i.e. it takes minutes instead of milliseconds to render a frame) It's been available for years.
Holy fuck. I cant possible think what video games are going to be 10-20 years later. But i think +20 from now i'm going to go around saying "Back then we used to have these things called pixels and mouses!"
