Couldn't help but giggle at the guy with the animated face.
I thought it was going to be about the Minecraft world. I was disappoint.
I loved watching this. I've been following minecraft pretty much since it started (Day 4, I think). Its really awesome to see how its grown since then.
Honestly, I don't get why this documentary even exists. Sure it's interesting but why do we need a 20 minute video when it can be summed up in a RPS article of a paragraph or two. And they want to do a full feature one? Oh man. and the way the actual documentary is shot, it's like they are trying to parody documentaries but taking their parody seriously.
From the news node thread.
Minecraft has gotten boring already. :colbert: [sp] In b4 disagree spam [/sp]
The sooner Notch releases the modding API the better. Giving the community the ability to make whatever needs should fill in the gaps where Notch isn't/can't himself. Then the community can turn minecraft into what they want it to be.
Notch is a pretty cool guy.
This made me happy.

More blocks and creatures would likely triple the levels of awesome this game already has. That was interesting.
I am still one of the few who still haven't bought Minecraft.
when they do release more content it needs to be applied for everyone that way so its easy for every 1 to work together.
If you mean applying mods for everyone instantly without even asking, that'd be stupid. If somebody found an exploit and used it in a mod they could do serious damage that way.(though a toybox system could work) If you mean just regular Mojang-made updates, they're automatically applied already
It be nice if he didn't keep going on vacation every five minuets. Then again if I got 20 million from this game I'd likely do the same. Probably buy one millions worth of penny sweets.

If this ever gets to be a full length documentary, i request an entire 25 to 30 minute section dedicated to what people have created, even if it's a third of the movie. Or even an extra on the dvd that's a 30, 35 minute look at those things. Because that will be the only part of the documentary that people would want to check out anyways. EDIT: In fact, couldn't there just be a youtube series on some of the awesome stuff people have created?
