I was expecting a fake footage of a 8bit retro version of red dead redemption, not, hum... whatever that was.
That's not 8-bit in any way, disaapointing
Why do people always think big pixels and flat = 8-bit. Because this sure as hell doesn't look like 8-bit.
So many people use this so-called 8-bit excuse to make lazy animations and drawings. Either make it proper 8-bit or make it properly animated and drawn.
Well what else is the guy going to name the video? Flat, boxy-looking Read Dead Redemption?
Regardless, it sucked.

Not to mention how many times it broke the pixel resolution. Nothing irks me more in 'retro-style' videos than when they choose to make the pixels a certain huge size and then add graphics that use smaller pixels within the larger pixels (like the mouths in the video). That's not how it works... :v:
They broke the 8bit wall far two much. Rarely do 8bit covers/parodies stay entirely in theme, but this just looked bad.
Those kinda looked like really bad legos.

8-bit means means that there are 256 different values/levels. I'm getting tired of the fad that makes everyone assume that large squares and beeps mean 8-bit. The limit can cover many things, such as graphics (bits per pixel) and audio (8-bit PCM is not a bunch of beeps). The term however originates from a processor architecture, and that has nothing to do with how games appear and sound, only how they work.
