Amazingly accurate.
Pretty accurate.
Except for the part with Artorias hanging out with the seal guardians [editline]6th March 2014[/editline] I guess that could be accurate, but not likely since [sp]they don't know the true events surrounding Artorias. You would have thought they would hear of his death, even without Elizabeth spilling the beans.[/sp]
so uh when do you get to the big titted lady I cannot even get past the bell tower gargoyles so I'm pretty much doomed in not seeing those tits.
[sp]It's actually not accurate at all. Seath did not create lightning. Seath created the primordial crystal after the age of dragons, it wasn't just lying around before then. The Duke's Archive is not a castle, it's an Archive. There is no evidence that Solaire is Gwyn's firstborn. Havel was imprisoned in the tower because he was starting a revolution in Anor Londo (Occult club near his gear). The only people related to Bed of Chaos is Quelaag, Quelanna, Ceaseless, Unknown sister (corpse gaurded by ceaseless) Sister before Bed of Chaos and the fair lady. Refering to 1:44. The black knights are black because they traveled to the first kiln with Gwyn, they never had a beef with the daughters of chaos. There is no evidence that Pricella is Seath's experiment. Characters at 4:37 in the video are not in Dark Souls. The undead where not sent to the asylum because 'They where getting tiresome'. It's ok if you want to enjoy the video, just know it has little to do with the actual game.[/sp]

It's fair for him to include it and then have the whiny nerd say "hey, that is not canon" as a disclaimer. It's likely the gods didn't know about Havel's involvement. Havel was locked in there because he turned hollow and was considered "a dear friend" at the time of his imprisonment. http://darksouls.wikidot.com/watchtower-basement-key She's saying babies figuratively, she "gave birth" to all demons when she failed The Black Knights are black because they fought the demons of Lost Izalith after the Witch of Izalith accidentally created demons. Then when Gwyn went to link the flame almost all the newly blackened black knights went with him and were destroyed by the newly kindled flame. There is plenty of evidence but again, nothing conclusive so I'm not gonna spell out the whole theory right here. Big Hat Logan: "It is an effect of the Primordial Crystal, a sacred treasure pillaged by Seath when he turned upon the ancient dragons." So yeah, Seath stole it, it is a primordial artifact. To your "archive, not castle" and "these guys aren't in DS" and "not because they were bothersome" comments, I think you should watch the video again with the understanding that it's supposed to be comedy. Those things are all just comedic license.[/sp]

It's too wishy washy to just straight out claim Solaire is the firstborn, people are going to go onto Dark Souls 2 assuming that was a fact because of this video. Still doesn't have anything to do with him knowing that Seath created Priscilla being the reason he was locked up. Myth Busted. They're black because of the First Kiln, if you know where I can find descriptions saying Gwyn's forces fought with the Bed of Chaos demons I'd love to read it. http://darksouls.wikidot.com/black-knight-armor Shouldn't be stated as fact. They'res plenty of confirmed and factual story elements this guy could have put in, but instead chose the more grey areas.[/sp]

[editline]6th March 2014[/editline] Also the "First Kiln" isn't even a thing, you say it like it was an event. "Kiln of the First Flame" boooooooy, it's a place [editline]6th March 2014[/editline] The armor article you linked to explicitly says they were destroyed at that time, not charred black.

[/sp]
[sp] Well there is some evidence like crystal soul spear's description saying it's comparable to the armament of ancient lords[http://darksouls.wikidot.com/crystal-soul-spear], meanwhile solair gives you a lightning spear and it's description hints at it being an ancient miracle and how it's effective against dragons[http://darksouls.wikidot.com/lightning-spear-miracle], although the intro says gwyn threw bolts of lightning at the dragons not spears, the comparison is still there. Plus there's only one other humanoid enemy in the game that can throw lightning at you and that's ornstein, captain of gwyn's 4 knights, so important he stayed behind to defend londo while the 3 other knights went to oolacile.[/sp]
Too bad it was unplayable on PC
Too bad it was unplayable on PC
DSfix, man. Gotta get DSfix.
[sp] But where in the game does it even mention Seath suggesting lightning?
I dunno maybe the first cutscene?

[sp] It is never explicitly stated that seath gives gwyn & Co the lightning weakness, but it seems like a reasonable thing to assume. Physically he's weak as fuck, and I doubt he'd risk fighting dragons by himself if his goal is to be immortal. The only weakness the dragons have is lightning, which gwyn & co conveniently use as their main weapon to strip the scales of immortality from them. The only way I could see seath's betrayal working is if he gave them something the dragons were weak to, and the only thing we know about is lightning. [/sp] Also the primordial crystal seems interesting as it really had no reason the exist, the dragons didn't seem to need it.
Also the primordial crystal seems interesting as it really had no reason the exist, the dragons didn't seem to need it.
[sp]Maybe the crystal was what gave them immortality and seath stole it. all the voice says is that seath betrayed his own. maybe that was the betrayal it was talking about[/sp] [sp]Also unrelated, it's ironic because seath turned hollow and thus gained immortality[/sp]

The Primordial Crystal is just something that existed, born into the world by the same force that created everything else primordial. Lots of immortal things were created at that time. The betrayal they talk about is, at the very least, Seath siding with Gwyn and going toe-to-toe with the dragons. The cinematic portrays Seath covered in blood atop a mountain covered with dead dragons, it's clear he fought them. But also being so intelligent, it's fairly likely he also assisted in strategy and as mentioned, probably told Gwyn about the Dragons' weakness to lightning. He didn't go hollow, dragons don't go hollow. He just went insane from being cooped up in his archive doing crazy research, same thing that happens to Big Hat (Big Hat never hollows, just goes insane). He gained immortality from discovering how to harness the power of the primordial crystal. [/sp]
DSfix, man. Gotta get DSfix.
Doesn't fix the god-awful controls the PC version has IIRC
Doesn't fix the god-awful controls the PC version has IIRC
The mouse fix does a pretty good job from what I hear Still, much better to play it with a controller
