I hope I'm never put in the position of seeing props from my favorite movies, because I'd be totally unimpressed.
I'm more amazed about how accurate Adam's replica is. That dude has skills.

Yeah I knew Adam was great at recreating props but I expected a bigger disparity between them. I guess if it's favorite movie prop, then he'd really give it his all, and damn it shows.

If the copyright hasn't expired for the original movie i expect the design of the gun is part of the IP regardless of who owns the prop. Like if you sell a toy model of something after the movie you arent transferring IP rights.
I was more impressed by that dude's collection of other stuff.

that is true, although i was referring more to 3d models, for 3d printing or other uses
