Like all of us, Riley is guided by her emotions - Joy (Amy Poehler), Fear (Bill Hader), Anger (Lewis Black), Disgust (Mindy Kaling) and Sadness (Phyllis Smith). The emotions live in Headquarters, the control center inside Riley's mind, where they help advise her through everyday life. As Riley and her emotions struggle to adjust to a new life in San Francisco, turmoil ensues in Headquarters. Although Joy, Riley's main and most important emotion, tries to keep things positive, the emotions conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house and school.
not a fan of the design of the emotions, but it's pixar so it can't be too bad
Looks, OK. Won't judge it too much since it's a teaser. But overall concept and characters seem mediocre.
Isn't that almost like the Cobra Unit from MGS3? It's only missing The End, but the Disgust is green enough to fill the part.
Looks pretty interestin
Was expecting a Cranium Command like design. Now I am semi-disappointed.
Lewis Black is Anger Fucking best casting choice ever.
Gonna' wait for some more info on this one. A bit concerned that the main characters are such extremes. Isn't especially conducive to interesting characters or character progression.
This looks incredibly average. C'mon Pixar, you're better than this.
Yeah it looks too much like a "teen" movie, but I'm all for Lewis Black.
It kind of feels like they've tried a bit too hard to 'de-construct' their own format. How very post-modern.
this honestly looks like a concept that threshold entertainment would go with
I'm not sure how to feel about this (no pun intended).
OK so its a Disney/Pixar movie, when do the parents die?
I feel like this movie could turn pretty heavy.
Seems like it could have a cool message for children like it's okay to be sad etc
There was some T.V. show about this when i was growing up, it was some 12/13 year old guy, and his brain was like the bridge of a ship like that, but i can't for the life of me remember the name
I feel like this movie could turn pretty heavy.
seriously expecting the kid's parents to break up just considering the tone they use on the shots we see of them. honestly though I hope they do that or something on a similar level cause that would be heartbreaking to tackle and i think it would make a good story and character to follow.
Anger reminds me of Super Meat Boy.
So it's Osmosis Jones but with emotions. Eh.
disney had a ride that was just like this at epcot once it got taken out if i remember. edit: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cranium_Command
Why does it feel like every Disney Pixar film so far has been the result of someone picking a word out of a hat? "Ok this months winner is...EMOTIONS! Well done, word monkey. way to not pick cars. again."
oh yeah aerosmith
These stories about anthropomorphic versions of emotions and whatnot running a person's mind like a ship rub me the wrong way. Like, the idea that a person is not so much a person as a thing ran by smaller creatures. It's all too bizarre a concept for me, really.

A man's success is only due to a rat who happens to discover that pulling his hair allows him to control his actions. If my hair did that i'd go see a doctor and immediately get a second opinion.
The characters depicting the different emotions is what's offputting. They look like what you would find in a little kids show from the 90's.
Guys. GUYS. Pete Docter is directing. It'll be good.
It won't be awful. It'll probably be just OK, and I'm OK with that.
I think everyone's just being a little too quick to judge at this point. Hell, half the trailer is a montage of other Pixar movies. So far, all we have some basic footage, a rough plot outline and a(n impressive) cast list.
